I was impressed with how the Melksham catering coped with the numbers that turned up last night, must have done very well on the income from food sold. They've got to do it all again today for Swindon, although they're not expecting such a big crowd apparently - the Gas fixture seems a bit special.

I see Swindon managed a 3-2 win today at Melksham.

I see Swindon managed a 3-2 win today at Melksham. Probably because the Melksham players were tired and jaded after last night's efforts.

Swindon played 7 trialists and apparently Melksham looked a little leggy after their game the previous night.

Agreed mate, but remember last season when players had niggles, fitness issues etc, as time went on our team of coaches and physios work their magic making us the strongest fittest team around. I expect all the new boys to be slow out the box as Lofty was. Joey seems to have a personnel and system in place that improves the lads markedly, but it does take time 👍🏼 Yes but the players that came into the season with a track record of injuries, the likes of Leon Clarke, Rodman and Brown ended up spending most of the season on the sidelines. We’ve got a very good medical team now but only so much you can do with some players. Rodman fractured bones in his foot, no medical team is going to stop that occurring, not really sure what went on with Brown, was he actually injured, particularly after January, or just not picked? The medical team have to take a pat on the back for getting Clarke match fit after a potential career ending injury.
