You will have noted from the Club Website that Members of the Supporters Club have priority rights for the purchase of Away tickets. Indeed, the Supporters Club have had a significant number of new members, possibly so that they can take advantage of this priority.
HOWEVER, Please note that when you join the Supporters Club through the Online Website, you must also grant us your permission to share your data with the Football Club. This can be done by logging into your account and ticking the appropriate boxes on your "Membership Profile". The full details of the process are contained in a Supporters Club news item dated 3rd May 2022.
It is important that you give us this permission - Otherwise, under GDPR regulations, BRSC is simply not authorised to share your membership rights with the Football Club and you will not qualify for the priority ticketing.
Please note that there is a significant amount of work involved in reconciling these amendments to your BRSC Membership Account before we can transfer your eligibility to the Football Club and we have a limited amount of time before the Burton Tickets go on sale next week. I would therefore ask any new members to make these amendments to their account as soon as possible.

I would like to point out season ticket holders, sponsors etc have first priority on away tickets, then following that window, the supporters club, before they then go to general sale.

Correct, However, the point of my message was to ensure that if a member joins the Supporters Club to take advantage of the Category 2 Priority for AWAY Tickets and HOME All-Ticket Games then they MUST also give us their permission to share their data with the Football Club otherwise they cannot benefit. I have already raised this on the Burton thread and don't want to be a bore, but it is irritating that we Helpline members (£10 a month, worth it for an exile like me who just wants to buy home and away tickets for the bigger games as well as the less popular ones), and remaining share scheme members (similar) seem to have been totally overlooked, at leat in the club's statement

At least that was written into the original and only share scheme agreement. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2019/july/share-scheme-info/

We are providing the Football Club with the appropriate data for all of our recent new members over the course of this weekend, in time for the launch of Away tickets to the Burton Game next week. We are also in the process of developing systems to transfer such data on a regular basis in the future so that none of our members miss out on the Priority Ticketing. The Supporters Club are not responsible for the Administration of the Helpline. However, speaking with my "Football Club" Directors hat on, I was always under the impression that Helpline Members also enjoyed priority ticketing. Indeed, that benefit of Helpline Membership is described on the Helpline section of the Football Club website. I will raise this with the Club on Monday and I will let you know the outcome.

I have literally cancelled my Helpline membership this week for the very reason that it seems to have been a forgotten group regarding priorities for tickets, it was a great way of getting a ticket for a big game if you didn't have a season ticket ! I'm sure it used to be group one priority but I'm not sure that is the case anymore although Kate did tell me otherwise, I think there needs to be a better description & awareness on the BRFC website regarding the benefits of a Helpline membership.

Is that Helpline, as in 'Help the Club'..... or Helpline, as in 'Help Me to get tickets'? (Asking for a lot of friends).

Ha ha! Both of course. Having been in the share scheme since day one, and swapping to Helpline when the scheme was now clearly futile, I must have put North of £1500 into the club with absolutely nothing in return other than a couple of hospitality days when we were in the conference and priority ticketing rights. I have been watching the club since 1967 even though I haven't lived in Bristol since 1975. I've rejoined the Supporters Club today as well!

My sons, both supporters club members want me to buy three tickets for selected away games this season.
I am a member too.
I know I can buy my own ticket but is it possible to link the other two supporters club memberships so that I can buy three tickets at same time?
Hope someone can help?
