With expected temps in quasar of 42c world cup 2022 was changed to start in November when temps are 20c so why are we clubs playing friendlies in thus extreme heat.
If Forest Green opening fixture is likely to see temps of 38c should kick off be changed to 8pm

It is very unlikely to be 38c, its currently showing highs of 21c.

I’m sure they’ll be fine. The referee can call for drinks breaks if things are too hot, and there’s a medical team on the touch line.
Those braving the open terraces will be sporting caps, odious amounts of sun screen and cool beverages no doubt.

Logic would suggest delaying Tuesday nights game by 24 hours would make sense for both players and fans, particularly when we're being told not to travel, unfortunately, logic doesn't seem to apply to football.

It's all gone bananas.
Cobra committee met to discuss impending disastrous heatwave.
Just listened to a reporter from Liverpool on New Brighton beach where temps have reached a heady 24° and are set to rise to.....wait for it....28°
I'm surprised the govt are even letting us outdoors.

Don’t temp it mate, you know they have a thing for making you stay indoors!

My boys both played today with no issues.

Anybody would think it's going to be 10C+ hotter early next week 🤔 Perhaps they should cancel games when it’s 0 degrees as the players and fans might get cold, perhaps the authorities could find a way to control the weather and seasons, just control the tempo of the game, play to the conditions.

Be a lovely 30 degrees in the desert for World Cup month, heading over mid November & cannot wait😎🤙🏻
As for FGR (h) these heat levels would’ve passed by then, no problem

To be fair not many fans are at risk of dying at O degrees, although the weather forecast has been changed and it's now only going to be in the low 20C's come kick off.

Drove down the Portway yesterday and the river Avon looked really low, must be the heatwave. Anyway, abandon the season.

What panic? 🤨 😀 The only panic is in the one manufactured by the press/tv and the Twittertossers who seem to want to be the front and centre of attention. All it needs is a sensible warning of the warm weather to come and then most sensible rational people will then take the necessary precautions, as they always have done, act sensibly as always, look after those who need looking after and before you know it it will all be forgotten as we move on to the next panic/crisis that they want to scare us with. That said there is a debate to be had (is being had I would say) on the causes/actions of this issue.

If Forest Green opening fixture is likely to see temps of 38c should kick off be changed to 8pm 30-35 degree British summer is a world away from 45-50 degree heat and 100% humidity in the Middle East.
