It seems unless we can find 500+ extra fans from somewhere then there's little prospect of us getting an 8,000+ attendance? Although no doubt we will beat the record later in the season if we can continue our present good form & catch Barnet.

It would be good to get a large crowd to roar the team on. I hope they are patient though as the Turkeys will want to make up for the previous game. Grimbsy had over 7,100 against Lincoln so lets get our crowd crown back!!

Oxford have the record gate for the conference ever.
Record attendance: 11,963 Oxford United vs Rushden & Diamonds at The Kassam Stadium (Play-off semi-final second leg, 3 May 2010)
Would be nice to beat this seasons and the highest ever. Don't think that's possible though. We don't get big enough away followings for this to happen.

Oxford had just shy of 12,000 in a play off game so don't think we'll break the record. Even though we could if the men let us

Don't think you can count a semi final play off really anyone got Lutons home and away average gates at this stage of season and final figures as we seem to be following each other with slow starts to the season then picking up 2nd half

After 14 games of 2014-15, Rovers' average is 5863. So quite a gap. It's still not quite representative though because by then Luton had played both 'festive period' fixtures by then, and I'd expect our average to go up a little bit after tomorrow.

Dunno if it's because it's their first year back but they've sold out Exeter and burton. Took over thousand to Carlisle. Sold out 2,700 at wycombe.

Luton have always been a bigger club than us, despite some recent terrible years until last season. The town has a population well over 200,000. They were in the First Division from 82 to 92 and were League Cup winners in 88. So their good support is not surprising. I think we're doing really well to be getting anywhere near their Conference crowds since we don't exactly have a history like theirs to be proud of.

Bristol's population as of May 2014 was just shy of 450,000; 6th largest City in England, 8th largest in the UK.
