2nd favourite to be the new Gillingham manager. Would be fantastic for us if he left Barnet, but Hessenthaler appears to be overwhelming favourite.
Likely to be a few managerial changes in L1 and L2 coming up, surely he'll get offered one?!

He has jumped ship plenty of times from Barnet. Let's hope he does it again.

I thought when he was mentioned as a possible candidate for the Rovers job fans suggested the Gills were glad to see the back of him last time?

If someone's 'surely going to offer Allen a job', I'd expect the same to happen with DC.

If someone's 'surely going to offer Allen a job', I'd expect the same to happen with DC. Why? Allen has an extensive CV unlike DC, the latter could well really enhance his CV by finishing the job he's started at Rovers, plus if he does get us promoted he can call the shots next summer.

I dont see anyone offering DC a deal on the back of half a season. If he gets us promoted And doing well in league 2 maybe but a huge gamble for a legue club.

Love him or hate him, Mad Dog is a very good manager. We wouldn't be where we are now if Higgs had returned his phone call. I am sure of that.

Love him or hate him, Mad Dog is a very good manager. We wouldn't be where we are now if Higgs had returned his phone call. I am sure of that. That may well be true, but we'll never really know. I really think that we needed somebody like DC, who was aware of the rot within the club, and is now building a team which has a completely different ethos. This bodes well for the longer term future of the club as a whole, rather than a quick fix, and then repeat the same mistakes again, and again. I think that it will be a while before people come looking for DC, and, hopefully, the BoD will have been savvy enough to offer him a good deal at the right time. Meanwhile, I'm happy for Mad Dog to go and work his own brand of "magic" elsewhere.

We'd be firing him about now, or he'd be off to Gillingham

Buckle, Maggooo and Ward all promised big and all fired at Christmas. Oh no, we forgot to fire Ward and now look . . .

Martin Allen reminds me of a cheating wife. f**k you like a pornstar and treat you like a king but keep cheating on you and running off with otherr blokes. But however much she cheats on you it doesn't matter as good things always happen when you are together. That's basically the story of Martin Allen and Barnet.

If someone's 'surely going to offer Allen a job', I'd expect the same to happen with DC. The difference being that Barnet are a much smaller club and Allen has also has previously had success in the league. Not a criticism of Clarke just think Allen will be more on clubs radars at this moment in time.
