There is a guy on youtube who used his random spinning thing to predict the league 1 outcome. It had Rovers in 4th. I think it had Derby and MKDons as the top 2.

Very disrespectful of 442 to have DC and Port Vale relegated.

Interesting to note that 2 of the 3 quoted predict Ipswich to be in the mix, I actually think that they might find it even harder this year. For a bit fun, maybe we could have a thread for posters to predict their own top 6 - Gas Go Marching In can bump it at the end of the season!

I wonder who'll be the surprise team this year, as there always seems to be one each season in L1.

The D3D4 podcast just released this. Put us 14th as the highest promoted side and were very complementary. Cant argue with the bottom half predictions. Moving into top now.

Given the general feeling here is we're bottom half, would you take staying up as ok this year ?
I'm sure we can do better than that but will hit some bumps along the way. Come on the Gas x !

Any predictions putting us below charlton should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Just started listening to the not the top 20 podcast which is probably the most respectful for me out of the predictions so far. They have us finishing 18th. Yeah agreed, they basically said L1 is really tough this year so it's hard to predict who the four worst teams are but that we'll be "comfortably safe" and I think that's a totally fair assessment. Last year L1 was basically two tables (nine points split 11th and 12th) so honestly I could see us finishing anywhere in the bottom half bar the drop. Elliot Anderson, Conor Taylor, Sam Nicholson and Luke Thomas are huge misses, cumulatively and individually. I think we'd be pushing up towards top half in the predictions with a few more acquisitions, namely a starting CB of quality and another forward (ideally Luke back). Either way, I have no worries about us this season so far but do think the initial "we've got momentum, we're getting playoffs" malarkey has rightly dried up a lot.

As things stand I've got us to finish anywhere between 16th and 20th, but with some late quality additions that could change. I'd be happy just to stay up the way things are at the moment.

They have Shrews going down. Can't see that personally, think they have made some good signings with a proven L1 manager.
