Sh1!heads are so odd. Criticising us for aiming high? We’re well aware the club is still 30 years behind off the pitch. But what is the point just being content with where we are? Such a strange fanbase

Read this and immediately I cannot now wait until tomorrow night I’m practically counting down the minutes until kick off. He rallies the troops so well this bloke. 4-0 defeat incoming !

Such a strange fanbase Come on now As if we haven't repeatedly mocked Lee Johnson for that interview in 2016 where they said they were capable of getting into the Europa League within 5 years: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36962717Or even Starnes telling us the wheels wouldn't come off when Coughlan left: www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50827403Or Joey Barton saying he was going to get us promoted from League Two... oh wait

Such a strange fanbase and they call us strange, those 82ers really are a bunch of idiots. Yeah let's stay as we are and not aim for anything, think they are getting worried because they would love to have a manager like JB and an owner like Wael

As a club we are on the radar of the prem teams for developing players. We have Taylor, Billy and Beefy as proof at what we can do as well as Hoole, Evans and Collins who have all improved under Barton as being good L2 footballers into being first choice L1 footballers. That will be an attraction for clubs to lend us the better U23s in their squads which will help us push on. The example is Yeovil who got to the champ with loans because GJ made them better players and a tight unit. If we get the next 3-5 signings right we could be very competitive in this league. And look where Yeovil ended up and due to not having their own players or a sustainable plan. Very poor example

I think the tone is right. We need to be ambitious. Bring it on! Joey not Tone!!! Seriously ,the optimism is refreshing and a win at Oakwell would be perhaps too much to ask but really think that would put us on cloud nine. Our Dickensian Stadium is the big problem of-course but perhaps? ??

Our Dickensian Stadium is the big problem of-course but perhaps? ?? I believe we can go there and take 3 points. They’ve started with 2 losses (Plymouth & Derby) and a win (single goal victory against Cheltenham) scoring 2 in three league matches. A point would be decent going into Saturday but fully believe we can secure a ‘statement win’ of sorts and keep ourselves amongst the top pack.

Would’nt be surprised if we do get beat up there to be honest. But in the long run I’m confident he’ll keep us up, perhaps even a top half finish, might be pushing it but you never know.

Will be on iFollow tomorrow and at Pompey Saturday. 3 or 4 points would be just lovely from those 2. If we win tomorrow, the optimism may reach richerford proportions! Early days tho, we are far from finished article, but Saturday showed we can more than compete even in this early stage with plenty to come in.

Ran the line there v Liverpool FA Cup quarter final when Ian Rush scored 4. When we got stuffed there once we could see a local game being played from the away end terraces and ended up cheering the team in the blue shirts such was our performance on the pitch that day!!!! Ground vastly improved since then.

To everyone saying he’s being unrealistic just imagine the meltdown if he said we’re punching above our weight and are resigned to being a league 1/2 yo-yo club for years to come.

I remember that was the sort of thing DC used to come out and say to put pressure on the board to give him what he wanted. In stark contrast to that in this interview, JB was saying how he had to convince Wael not to spend money when he didn't think the club was getting value for money.
