.....not just applied for MkD.
How does match day affect you, and/or your friends and family?
I would seriously be interested in anyone that makes it a habit to roll up to the ground, pay their admission and watch the game, then go straight home. Without purchasing anything on the way, in the ground or on way back home.
I'm guessing we all contribute funds somewhere, out of habit or superstition or just because that's the way we roll. Today's cancellation through all levels of football has a knock on effect, even if it's a bar person serving you a drink, a programme seller not there or a train conductor actually being able to navigate his train on a Saturday morning!?
They just won't be needed and might lose out financially.
I personally love pre match build up (around now)of watching higher league football passing to each other, then rolling up the Mem to see how well we can't do that!?

Have to leave home around noon on a matchday - the excitement mounts! If driving, park at the Civil Service Club, and stroll along to The Mem, fanzone is usually rocking by the time we get there. Pre match ritual of burger, chips and a drink in the fanzone, then through the turnstiles and down to our seats. After the game we often wait for the crowds to clear, so watch the subs doing their warm downs. If any of the food outlets are open on the way out, we might be tempted to indulge. Back home around 7 p.m. - the tone of the weekend is depedent on the result! Finish off with watching MOTD - reminds of being allowed to stay up and watch it with my Dad when I was a youngster. It was a long running joke that the MOTD theme turn was the signal for Mum to go up to bed (she was not a football fan).

"the tone of the weekend is depedent on the result!" Ain't that the truth!? Yep, we win, I'll watch Ch5 EFL Goals Sunday morning, followed by a bit of Match of the Day, few beers at the local with youtube highlights. Lose, and it's none of that.

Pretty sure we will avoid defeat today, lots of injuries as absolutely nobody's on the bench, and the away support is non existent, all saving their money for Ipswich maybe.

I've just nicked a mint flavoured chocolate Jacobs confectionery out of their tuck shop.
Shhhhhhhhh....
Now they know what it feels like to have their Club stolen!
