Pete Weymouth has just replied to my email within five minutes. The club have received a number of season ticket packs this week. They are available to collect from the club shop for anyone who has not had theirs. This information will be put out tomorrow ahead of Saturdays game.

Poor bloke, replying to e-mails at 9 o'clock in the evening, having to sort out the cock-ups caused by decisions made further up the ladder. Glad that you've got a response, and a way of getting your pack - at last!

Whilst we do didn’t pay for the gifts, the club made the decision to give the packs to season ticket holders, and should ensure that it is honoured. Some people have children who have not yet received their packs, which is disappointing for young ones. It seems that Pete will now distribute them via the shop to make sure that people get what was promised Whilst people have been able to view games, some have had to go around the houses to do so. Being sent from the turnstiles to queue for a ticket at the ticket office, then back to queue at the turnstiles - with fingers crossed. We are now in November, this is not acceptable service from a professional organisation which was happy to take our payments in April.

Does anyone know how many people are affected by this fiasco? I would doubt that even the club know as i believe this to be a ticketbatard problem. Outsourcing is not always for the best and i absolutely hate the company. Where possible and if i wish to see a gig then i will go to the venue rather than use the company. I have been trying to get tickets for next June in Manchester and it’s been hellish, as i knew it would be.

This all sounds like terrible service. Its November ! The season started in July. Pathetic. Not good is it. There are a lot of first time ST buyers who are having this experience. I can’t imagine it is making them happy. What an almighty balls up but i have to say that i would be pretty sure is the firm who are at fault. It would be nice to have an explanation that makes sense. The guy i went with, up until my passing out at a game, has paid on the day all of his life but bought an ST this year, he was chuffed to get the pack but now is getting e-tickets instead. He has already said he will not be doing so again.

Not a first time Season Ticket holder, if my math is right this is close to my 25th year, and without fail have purchased within 24 hours of them being released. I also gave money back to the Club during the mid Season lockdown. Feeling slightly overlooked. Hey ho, my card works.

Nobody buys a season ticket for the freebies but if you’re going to give away gifts you need to make sure everyone gets them.
Moreover the bloody cards need to work.

As i have not been since we had the unusually hot weather and getting unwell, do you get long queues of people whose cards do not work ? I never noticed it as i just scanned and went in. It does seem par for the course with that company though. When i heard that we were using them i just had a gut feel that things could get overly complicated the biggest problem is that, IF you do manage to have the patience to get to talk to a human, they have no idea of the club or the ground and will not really have a clue. I did wait, when i had problems with an e ticket and the guy really just had no idea, told me my ticket would work but it didn’t and i had to go to the ticket office.
