So do Wales think he's good or is it well he's playing L1 therefore he must be good? Probably a bit of both. They probably remember that he's young and has potential and probably don't write him off too soon, unlike some of our fans!

Yeah I like Hoole he was very good last season and has struggled a bit with the step up and also playing in different positions in different formations week in week out but then they all have. I think we’ve got a decent young player on our hands.

Hoole has been called up for Wales so will miss the Accrington game, so things arn't getting any better, hopefully we will get an experienced defender in before the weekend from the out of contract players still available something JB should have done before the season started. I pointed this out ages ago we have no defender with a few season of league one football under their belt at the club. Playing young defenders up against teams with experienced forwards is a worry especially at a higher level and the Ipswitch game proved that, youngsters sometimes panic and make rash decisions.jb Can't soley blame the players for what happened against Ipswitch. I can't see the logic of signing an experienced CB just to cover for a couple of one match suspensions and Gibson's, hopefully, short term injury, as what happens when they all return in a couple of games? RB seems a priority now if both Anderson and Gibbons are now out for over a month.

Leaving aside that Kilgour didn't actually touch the Ipswich player, why isn't it a 3 match ban for a straight red card? Are there different rules depending on the severity of the tackle etc.? Genuine question! For a so-called professional foul, a player will also receive a one-match ban. If the foul in question is dissent, it will normally be a two-match ban. If we are talking about violent conduct, the punishment is normally a three-match ban. What a stupid system. Disagree with a decision and it’s 2 matches. The emperor referee must not be slighted. Commit a game changing foul and it’s 1 game. Shows pretty well the ego of officials. “He insulted the emperor! Guards - seize him!

Well thank god some good news finally. Fancy him to have a cracking game Saturday now. Need the defensive midfielders to play their part tho, Finley was shocking on Tuesday and Coutts has not been at his best yet. Evans/Belly - no longer needed in defence lads!

Does a certain Ipswich Town diver get a RED?

Does a certain Ipswich Town diver get a RED? Absolutely should be the case where a player has been proven to attempt to get a fellow pro sent off. And clearly he can’t argue that he fell over. However, I suspect at worst ‘simulation’ is just a yellow card and so not something they can take retrospective action on. If they want to stamp it out though it needs to have serious consequences.

Let me get this right, we now have one central defender available, yet some 'fans' would rather he not be?
Careful what you wish for - it could be Wastebrooke playing centre half instead. 🤦♂️

No doubt the media dept have been a massive help in evidencing Kilgour's appeal

I really hope Alfie proves all the doubters wrong on Saturday
I for one will be encouraging him and the team
Seems very odd to me that some fans are so dismissive of some of our players. We all have opinions on talent, but for me he gives everything for the shirt and deserves our respect

So its likely to be Hoole and Kilgour as centrebacks. With potentially Gordon or Clarke switching to the opposite fullback position. Or perhaps a back 3 Hoole, kilgour, clarke Coutts McCormick Evans Finley Gordon Collins Loft
