I enjoyed the game and had a decent view from the back of the Big Bank.
Fair play to Joe and everyone because the work on our 3 4 3 ,at the Quarters,is paying off.
Apart from 'giving' the Grecians 2 goals,we were sound.
Loftys contribution was good, but significantly his heading appears to be improving. He won a fair percentage of headers and of course nodded home our equaliser. Fair play Lofty! With more steady improvement he will look a bargain at £50,000 (as Joe said the other day).
Rossitter is starting to look a very important player for us.
Only one game, but a step in the right direction and a great start to October.

Appropriately names for your first post or rather the timing of it. If you had posted this after the Lincoln game then I think a lot more would have thought it intelligent however to post it after possibly our best away performance of the season its laughable. "Rio everything up for the sake of it. He didn't exactly rip it up for the sake of it. He lost key players from last season and replacements signed for purpose have been injured. Kilgour genuine stopper at this level- Are you having a laugh- its not only pace he lacks,he lacks any sort of positional sense and jumps like a player in lead boots. "Protection of a decent full back"- it should be a full back being given decent protection by Alfie!! Thomas error- it was an awkward ball and no matter who was going for it would have struggled but with Belly coming out-sorry that was just an awful error by Belly and that was it and I am sure he would hold his hand up. No need to drop him because all keepers make mistakes. I personally thought yesterday was the best defensive performance this season- Hooles best game in that position and Gordon the same with Thomas IMO giving a performance of how you should expect Kilgour to perform now. Im firmly backing JB to turn it around again when players return I think we will have a better all round team than last season.

Agree with what some posters have said about Rossiter, had a very good game yesterday. Definitely gave the midfield more balance, closed down quickly, challenged and won more than his fair share. Thought he was decent away at Plymouth, glad to see him getting better with each game.

Loving the impact Jasper gives as a sub, he was very good again yesterday and as others have said I thought rossiyer put in a good shift. Don’t think there’s any question we actually deserved a point at least, on another day we win that game. Ref was a bit erratic and easily swayed towards home decisions imo.
Had quite a nice view from near the top of the seating bit. There were 4 seats directly behind us not taken up which is a bit weird/ annoying as a lot of folk did miss out. Maybe an upshot of the train strike and not getting tickets back to Pete or something.
Did anyone else have an absolute nightmare getting back to the m5 after? Took us nigh on 45 minutes. Always do this trip by train and will in future much nicer than having to snake through suburbs of Exeter on small roads to get in and out.

Anyone else log into the website the day after a game for their dose of the weekends highlights? Much prefer getting on the Ifollow full match replay & skimming forward to the goals, mainly so i can get the ‘live’ radio comms with each strike. Hoskins going mad for our goals yesterday, brilliant stuff.

Definitely agree with your last sentence, with the return of Gibbens, Gordon & the introduction of Coburn we should have the makings of more than decent squad to compete in this league & like you state a stronger & better all round team than last season. If we can get a settled defence & eradicate the gifts we are giving teams at the moment, the likes of Loft,Marquis,Collins & Coburn are going to give opposing teams plenty of problems & provide us with some entertaining football going forward.

Decent point, but was annoyed by Evans rash challenge more than Bellys mistake.
Think we are improving gradually and hope we can start moving up the table.
Archie collins looks a decent player for them, and probably the next big windfall for them.

Don't think it will be as big as the £8m they have earned from Ollie Watkins.

Does this mean a vacancy at Exeter for Joe and his staff no need for him to buy their club now and sack their staff !

The job has been offered and MT said Saturday he would decide over the next 24 hours. The way he spoke of his past at the Grecians, rather than the hopes for the future does make it look like he'll leave for the Millers. Announcement today I suppose. Wayne Carlisle may get the Grecians job if he decides to stay.

Really enjoyed Saturdays game though accept that level of excitement would have gone up another notch if we had actually won as we deserved to do. The atmosphere with the baiting of certain Exeter fans and the non stop chant what’s on your head / sh** goalkeeper added to the day. Rossiter and Finley were like beasts - can see them competing for who gets booked the most this season. Marquis looked likely to score and Loft was winning headers. Collins runs at Exeter reminded me of that night Ogogo took on Yeovil single handed. He surely will be playing in the Championship next season. Ok they shut the doors of the pub outside the ground really early and they ran out of hot pasties even before the game started but minor indiscretions. Oh and City lost

Rossiter was very good today. Yes macca had a job to do. Lofty is looking good so lots of positives. Bit feisty in the hospitality seats today. Love it. I heard about that. Ex supporters director David Brain, his son and Hanif the guy who used to operate the scoreboard using foul and abusive language and had to be warned by the stewards. Some love that sort of thing, I'm glad I never had my family in there today.

Yes three louts all in their 40's( never seen 'em at the Mem) came in late both halves and were drunk.Didn't watch the game just used constant profanities at opposing supporters.Few yards in from the left at the front pushing their way in and threatening people.Three ladies understandably left to move further away.Fortunately, the game was good enough for the majority to ignore them.

It's a shame and it makes you understand why some clubs restrict hospitality to home supporters only. There are requests for away supporters to be respectful on their letters but it sounds like a few couldn't read. Hope it doesn't spoil things for your next visit Colyton.

Not been on here for ages. I was in hospitality on Saturday. Thought Exeter City fc done a good job, but due to the attitude of the stewards and the constant monitoring and not being allowed to enjoy what I thought was a good game, I had to take my son out of the situation as he was in tears. Thanks stewards and the attitude. Still awaiting a response from ECFC.

Sorry that your son was upset by the situation - that is very poor.
