Right here we again then, let’s hope we can push on tonight and get another win on the board after Saturdays much needed win. I can’t ever remember us winning at the franchise ground, maybe we have? Time to put our crap record there behind us and come away with a vital win. 3 - 1 Gas 😁 lol! 2 for Collins and 1 for Cockburn. COYB! Let’s be avin you, again!

Few ….. woke up this morning and didn’t see a match day thread and didn’t want to break Marshy’s winning run! Luckily he’s arrived and it’s here now 👍
With our growing confidence and performances and stronger squad i think this will be a 3-1 Marshy special and the run continues…
Not expecting too many changes in the starting line up and I’m pumping on Loft, Coburn and Collins to score

Hoole looked all over the place on Saturday but for some decent Belshaw saves we could have easily conceded a 2 or 3 goals, I don't rate him as a CB in a back 4, so either Kilgour or Gibbons will have to return to the back line, in either a back 4 or 5.

Might revert to a back three, especially if Anderson is fit as he can get up and down and support the defence.

I thought Hoole did OK Saturday, against a very direct, physical side. They definitely bullied him, but it's all learning for the lad, he will get better. I'm not sure what threat MK have in attack? Can't imagine they will be as direct as Cambridge though.

It’s a wide pitch I’d go 4231 get Anderson and Jasper out wide use the width and try to stretch the play. We always seem to play narrow there and they pull us all over the place.

Putting aside any thoughts about Milton Keynes Dons as a club. Both clubs average around 9k gates in League 1. Would you rather have their luxury 30k capacity stadium in an out of town retail park, or a full, charming but ramshackle Memorial Stadium?

Can't imagine they will be as direct as Cambridge though. Definitely bullied and seemed to be in Cambridges eyes as our weak link. We got the 3 points so hope he learns from it as it didn't cost us the game. Regarding high balls if you ain't going to win headers the best you can do is try and stop the other player getting a clean one. I remember our tactics against 6ft 7in Kevin Francis for Stockport. Let him win the header but not cleanly but be ready for the knock on

Anyone know if you can get pay on the day? I think you could for the original fixture (albeit 2 quid more expensive). Already got tickets but now someone else wants to come with us.

Would you rather have their luxury 30k capacity stadium in an out of town retail park, or a full, charming but ramshackle Memorial Stadium? I guess it's easier to imagine it built at the UWE? If it was then we'd be pushing 15K plus for this season's big games plus JB would most likely have a far bigger wage budget.

Good on Yer Marshy and all those making the delightful trip for a mid-weaker in Milton Keynes! think I've sussed Marshy out now, tells everyone it's 3-1 then bets on a different score to get better odds, so has to be 2-1 or 4-1, 4-1 it is then! come on Rovers, same attitude as Saturday please from the off again and for 95 mins!

Would so love a win there tonight. Think most people are surprised to see where MK and Oxford are in the table at the moment. We have to take advantage of this especially as we are on a 3 match unbeaten run against relatively good sides. Trouble is we have a habit of not doing so - remember Bolton at the Mem not so long ago when they were the absolute whipping boys. I remember the battling 3-3 draw at the Dons when we were 3-0 down ?? I’m going for 2-1 win - don’t care who scores but want Marshys run to continue to Cheltenham and another 3 points. Consistency is the key

Got a good feeling about this one. 2-0 gas (Collins and Coburn) Back 3 only change with Gibson coming into the side.

It’s a wide pitch I’d go 4231 get Anderson and Jasper out wide use the width and try to stretch the play. We always seem to play narrow there and they pull us all over the place. That would mean Collins vacating the wide left spot where he’s done really well. Would you play him as the lone striker or leave him out? What would you do with Loft and Coburn? I’d go with your formation but Collins staying left, Coburn down the middle with Anderson or maybe even Jasper on the right. Evans in the attacking central midfield spot with Finley and Rossiter behind. Back four is tricky. I prefer Gibbons to Hoole and Flash picks himself at left back in a four. In the middle I’d probably go with Thomas and Gibson until Connolly is fit.
