Many of you will know Sarah as the first face you see when entering the Memorial Gate entrance.
After many years, Sarah has decided to stop selling programmes.
I can remember buying programmes from her at Twerton when I was still at school so she must have well over 30 years loyal service to the club, out in all weather's and unpaid. Add to that the years on the SC committee working duty nights at 199, selling match and coach tickets, merchandise and fundraising.
To put it in context, some players achieve legendary status after only playing around 20 games. Sarah has probably had over 750 home "appearances" - even Stuart Taylor did reach those levels! And I am not sure many players would have still "worked" when 8 months pregnant!
Together with her partner in crime Sue Dry selling 50/50 tickets from the Mem Gates, they have been a mainstay since the clubs return to Bristol.
I hope the football club will make an effort to reward her for her incredible loyal service.

Agree, Sarah has been a constant at the club for almost as long as I can remember. Lovely lady, her son, Robbie was runner up in Junior Bake Off a couple of years ago - if you need a special cake, he's your man! Sarah deserves some sort of pitchside presentation, and recognition from the FC.

Don't hold your breath Dave! I sold progs with Sarah at Twerton(and before that at Eastville) and at the Mem,no thanks from the club. Ron used to get to ground hours before kick off to count and sort programmes for sellers(as you know), as well as selling them, not a thanks from club, only the supporters club.

Since I took over from Phil Draper Sarah (and everyone else) has been brilliant. Standing outside selling in all weathers come what may. (At least till the hut arrived)
I would like to publicly thank her for everything she has done.

With Sarah no longer part of the volunteering team, we really need new people to help out.
Sarah sold from the programme hut by the Mem gates so any newbie will be warm and dry.
If you have time to help the club, please see Jamie at the SC shop.
