Have to be fair and despite what some of their fans have written about us I thought Plymouth were a good side and their position in the League says that. However we played the better football overall, had far more shots than them and in the end should have snatched a deserved win. Looking at both squads I think we have a superior overall squad but take nothing away from them they are also a good side and very quick on the break.

Really entertaining game, thought we were unlucky to be 2 down, first shot unstoppable second was disappointed to concede.
Second half we bossed it, the scouse Krays Finley and Rossiter were running the show, Lofty was immense and Super Aaron collins was all over the park, everyone played well today.
Exciting times ahead UTG

Mem capacity is pathetic. We are not Sheffield Wednesday Derby Portsmouth or Mk Dons for that matter. We rarely sell out current capacity anyway. Thought Argyle had two future stars both loanees Azaz number 18 from Villa quality goal and Mumba number 17 from Norwich City. Mumbai had superb first half. Barron tried signing Azaz from Villa but he joined Argyle. Tremendous player last season too for Newport County. 4th biggest city in the country and to only be able to have a potential maximum attendance of just over 9,250 isn't good enough.

Other than a couple of forward players that weren’t even their players Plymouth we’re not very good. The Aldi version of VVD at the back was particularly bad. If only we started the game like we played from half time we would have won easily. Hopefully we push on from here Did JB get it totally wrong by only starting with Loft up front? As if we'd started the match like we did in the second half then we could have won by a fair margin. Although as we know from last season it's only early days, keep these types of performances up and we could easily make the plays offs. Rossiter seems to be of similar views from his post match interview.

Bristol is the 8th biggest City In England. It is pathetic that we have lost over 2,000 from our capacity for no good reasons and the SAG should be held responsible and face the media over how they calculate the capacities for the terracing parts of the ground. That is where numbers have been slashed. Probably some formulae on a computer.

Anyway….
I thought Gordon had his best game for us today. Was superb on the ball, constantly cutting inside and advancing 30 yards up the park venturing into central midfield before linking up with (in most cases) our attackers!
He set the tone for the afternoon with that cruncher in the first 20 seconds. Right in front of us, quality.

For anyone present, fancy experiencing a football match as fantastic as that one and the manner of the result, get yourself home, log on & start faffing about how many people were or were not there. Look forward to these posts when it’s 7.5k at home to Fleetwood in a few weeks🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃

True we should be able to attract better support, but the ground is not fit for purpose and has not been updated for years. I wouldn’t be surprised if we continue to have our capacity restricted if the ground remains in its present state.

I ve looked at their forum most are delusional, we battered them second half but for a blinding save from Bobby Thomas we would have won.
They really think they are something special!

Well, that was everything i hoped it would be! great atmosphere, Rovers really up for it though showed them to much respect early doors, think we are evolving into a very useful league 1 side, delighted with a point which was so nearly 3! Marshy marches on! The fixture lists have given us a tough week, but we need fear no one, up the Rovers, think Lofty has made a few eat their words, Gorden improving all the time, options all over the park now, these are indeed exciting times, up the Rovers! P.S nowt to do with us but goodness me the city manager don't half give a boring, clueless interview post match! Yeah I certainly wouldn’t swap him for Barton. He’s got a decent record as manager ( built most of the Leicester side that won Prem ) and I always liked him as a player - tough no nonsense ball winner , but yeah I think his pre and post match conferences would put me off the buzz of supporting my club quite a bit.

Some belters commenting on their PASOTI forum; "Not going to get carried away but that second half was absolutely embarrassing against a truly dreadful football team" "Rovers are just big, aggressive, proper L2 style club. Referee did everything he could to help them over the line" "I'm reading their fans forum and they really fancy themselves No real footballers in their side. Will probably get washed aside by Wednesday and Derby in their next two games and have a reality check. Delusional" "They’re absolutely rubbish. Just like 80\% of the league. On a normal day we win at at a canter." "Would you take a single Rovers player to replace someone in our side? They didn't have one footballer in their side. Just big thugs, a bunch of 6 foot + long ball merchants with a couple of Scouse thugs in the centre of the park." "Thats 2 points well and truly tossed out the window against a side that probably finishes bottom 8" They were lucky to get a point and keep all their wonderful footballing players on the pitch tbh. Thick c unts Yes, I’ve just read them. But we’ll get something similar all season from all clubs because everyone hates JB and consequently everything associated with our club is criticised and considered s***. In the last month every team we’ve beaten has said how bad we are and what an awful footballing side we are. They think we’re a physical, long-ball, dirty team with only thugs playing for us. Get used to it, it will continue. In truth of course we are a very good footballing team who do have strong players who won’t roll over for anyone. We also have players who will always walk a tightrope in close physical matches like today’s. Look at the foul count in the statistics and on most weeks the opposition outnumber us with fouls. But for that 90 minutes logic and reason goes out the window!! 😉 Reading their forum I thought that all those comments came from only 3 posters, who were right belters. But most of them gave us credit and said our second half performance was very good, so I won’t bunch them altogether, we all have those. Get ready for more of the same on Wednesday v Wednesday. Well done JB and the team today. That second half was some of the best football I’ve seen for some time. One thing I thought was Argyle will be in some pretty big trouble for those flares. To do one is stupid, to do it again minutes later will have a consequence. Now we move on and concentrate on the next match. UTG!

Just reading the Plymouth forum. So a few of them - not all - think we are anti-football hoofballers. Long balls to heads didn't work today, balls down the channels did. If we are so anti-football I'd like to bring up the equalizer😁Tactically we won the 2nd half, at least some of them admit that.

Still buzzing after that second half performance. They left everything out there this afternoon, so much energy, passion, determination. TBH it felt like a win and I wouldn't be surprised if Plymouth left feeling a bit bruised, they probably thought it was going to be a straightforward three points thank you very much. Thanks lads and JB, keep it coming.

Just had a quick look at their forum, I have to say what a very arrogant bunch they are, they are top of the league yes but they think they are massive, one poster calling us little old Rovers, they probably wish they were Exeter, proper team
