Just had a quick look at their forum, I have to say what a very arrogant bunch they are, they are top of the league yes but they think they are massive, one poster calling us little old Rovers, they probably wish they were Exeter, proper team They won't stay there, nowhere near as good as Ipswich

I ve looked at their forum most are delusional, we battered them second half but for a blinding save from Bobby Thomas we would have won. They really think they are something special! We had the best chances of the game. Collins missing a one on one, Thomas was either keeper or post and I think it was Rossiter denied by a brilliant bit of keeping after Collins had chipped a cross back to the far post. I didn’t have a good enough view on whether we should have had a penalty. The difference first half was two worldies from them. Overall I felt we were the better side and it felt like two points were dropped. We are a different team than we were a month ago. Every reason to be confident for the rest of the season.

We are the fifth biggest city. Only bigger is London, brum, Sheffield and liverpool It depends whether you measure size by area or population. Anyway, size isn't important, it's what you do with it, and Bristol doesn't.

Plymouth Live Player Ratings includes:
Mike Cooper 8 STAR MAN -
Argyle would have lost had it not been for some typically excellent work from the 23-year-old keeper, including a superb one-on-one stop from Aaron Collins in the first half and a double save from Ryan Loft and Harry Anderson in the second period.

Just watched M.O.D, Everton's 3erd goal very similar to our equalizer!

Plymouth fans thinking we’re hoofball might want to look at the way we carved them open for the equaliser, and that both of their goals were long shots.
I don’t think they worked a single one on one and we had several.
As for bottom 8, see where we are next year. They are a good side but given their dominance in terms of points, I was a little underwhelmed. I know several Plymouth fans and their depictions of this team have been very much that this is a premier league side who’s happened to find themselves in league 1. That wasn’t what I saw, I saw a team who struggled to get the ball and momentum against what are currently a mid table team.
Play that match 10 times and I say we win 7 times.

Penalty shout was right in front of us. Their right back picked the ball up! You can tell by reactions whose guilty. He ran away very sheepishly when he got the chance. There was a photographer with a perfect view, I'd like to see his portfolio from the game!

Usually highlights don’t show contentious decisions, because the standard of refs in this league is appalling and they don’t want the light of scrutiny on their failures.

The only decent save I can recall Belshaw making was after Anderson first touch let him down and he got caught in possession. I'm surprised how poor they looked for most of the second half once we went two upfront.

Yeah agree with this very good summary. I do think they will be play off at the least at the end of the season. Be interesting to see how they look up to Sheffield Wednesday and Derby. Didn’t think they were quite as good as Ipswich but to be fair the other teams I’ve mentioned here we are playing away first. I thought we probably had our best half of the season that second half yesterday and I include the first half last weekend in that as well. We looked very good. Left the ground at the end very upbeat.

Everyone keeps saying that the first goal was a worldie, and it was a special piece of technique, but he was given far too much time on the ball to do whatever he liked.

Was still a worldie. 2nd one annoyed me as we had a chance to clear it. But another good strike

Just got in...
*Hic!* What a great day's entertainment. And a great advert for 3rd division football.
It comes to something when a team top the table resorts to time wasting on 79 mins, so that's a testament to how far we've come....and possibly, how much further we can go.
Housekeeping out the way: Plymouth...a good, strong, organised outfit that have flair style and trickery in attack, solid on defence. Az apart, I thought our defence coped pretty well against him and Ennis (was he playing? And he's a great player)....their 17 was mazy runny and dangerous, their 22 was hard and solid, their 5 gave the whole east side a wink because he feigned injury to try to induce a booking, he wasn't even touched 🤬 cheeky sod.
Now.... What ever way you cut it, you've got to give JAB credit for man managing this match. I didn't see the Hoole sub, nor did anyone around me, but it worked a treat. In fact, Plymouth checked, checked again and a 3rd time with their own changes to keep up with us.... that's great management and reading of the game by JAB team and it so almost paid off. A truly game of two halves.
Gordon's gintastic attacking role of wing back helped stretched them. Lofty is just going from strength to strength since Port Vale dink. Aaza is our Gazza. My m o m Gibson as both centre back were awesome, but Gibs reminds me of CT last season both in style and looks. Nothing beat him. Looks like he owns that position and has been playing there for years, is mature beyond his time and composed. Rossiter is rising quicker than damp, his midfield running is majestic and opposition must hate his break up play, very unnoticed, exactly how it should be, he dovetails perfectly into a midfield engine. Anderson brilliant wing pass to set Evans on the way for his assist..... and Coburn whom they couldn't really handle without pulling his and Lofty shirt everywhere (that seems to be legal now!?).
Excellent move for the second goal, worthy enough to draw or win any match.
Ref missed so much or perhaps now fouls are legal against us but not anyone else!
I was quietly confident going into this match, see above, but I think before a ball was kicked most Gas would've been happy a draw....as it transpired, I think leaving the game, Plymouth would have been happy with a draw, more..
