Just got in... *Hic!* What a great day's entertainment. And a great advert for 3rd division football. It comes to something when a team top the table resorts to time wasting on 79 mins, so that's a testament to how far we've come....and possibly, how much further we can go. Housekeeping out the way: Plymouth...a good, strong, organised outfit that have flair style and trickery in attack, solid on defence. Az apart, I thought our defence coped pretty well against him and Ennis (was he playing? And he's a great player)....their 17 was mazy runny and dangerous, their 22 was hard and solid, their 5 gave the whole east side a wink because he feigned injury to try to induce a booking, he wasn't even touched 🤬 cheeky sod. Now.... What ever way you cut it, you've got to give JAB credit for man managing this match. I didn't see the Hoole sub, nor did anyone around me, but it worked a treat. In fact, Plymouth checked, checked again and a 3rd time with their own changes to keep up with us.... that's great management and reading of the game by JAB team and it so almost paid off. A truly game of two halves. Gordon's gintastic attacking role of wing back helped stretched them. Lofty is just going from strength to strength since Port Vale dink. Aaza is our Gazza. My m o m Gibson as both centre back were awesome, but Gibs reminds me of CT last season both in style and looks. Nothing beat him. Looks like he owns that position and has been playing there for years, is mature beyond his time and composed. Rossiter is rising quicker than damp, his midfield running is majestic and opposition must hate his break up play, very unnoticed, exactly how it should be, he dovetails perfectly into a midfield engine. Anderson brilliant wing pass to set Evans on the way for his assist..... and Coburn whom they couldn't really handle without pulling his and Lofty shirt everywhere (that seems to be legal now!?). Excellent move for the second goal, worthy enough to draw or win any match. Ref missed so much or perhaps now fouls are legal against us but not anyone else! I was quietly confident going into this match, see above, but I think before a ball was kicked most Gas would've been happy a draw....as it transpired, I think leaving the game, Plymouth would have been happy with a draw, more.. Agree, although it was Collins not Evans for the assist. Think he's averaging a goal or assist per game Yes 15 games 9 goals and 6 assists. 👍 But the strange thing was he wasn’t credited with an assist for Coburns goal? It looked like an assist to me!

We had the best chances of the game. Collins missing a one on one, Thomas was either keeper or post and I think it was Rossiter denied by a brilliant bit of keeping after Collins had chipped a cross back to the far post. I didn’t have a good enough view on whether we should have had a penalty. The difference first half was two worldies from them. Overall I felt we were the better side and it felt like two points were dropped. We are a different team than we were a month ago. Every reason to be confident for the rest of the season. Everyone keeps saying that the first goal was a worldie, and it was a special piece of technique, but he was given far too much time on the ball to do whatever he liked. I might be alone on this one. Watched footage by some lad on youtube who was level with Azaz and it looked to me by his body movement and leg swing that he was crossing the ball to the far post. One of those hoping someone gets on it if not theres a chance it might go in.

No way was it a cross. He’s a gifted player and you could see what he was trying to do from my position on the east terrace. He wasn’t given space, he created it with some skilful movement in the same way Bodin used to do for us. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up to a piece of individual brilliance.

Something I thought to myself yesterday when they scored their 1st goal, they ran the full length of the pitch to celebrate their goal, surly that was energy used up that they needn't have used, I also thought 'crack on'

What would he do differently if he was just trying to cross to a team mate at the far post?

He then proceeded to faff around on the outside of the edge of the centre circle on our side until the ref had a word with him about it. Gamesmanship. Hate it.

I know it's already been said, but that really was a brilliant game of football, an excellent advert for bottom division rubbish.
Two excellent goals from Argull, the second may not have happened if Gibson did not clear it to their player, Gibson's reaction afterwards said it all.
Despite Argull thinking they are football science in action, they were comprehensively outplayed once the Gas got a grip
Two excellent goals from the Gas, could have and should have been more, Muff were hanging on for the bulk of the second half.
A point was probably the best outcome for them. F 'em !!!

Had a good laugh reading their forum ! 💙utg Just watched a couple of utube videos, one of their players started off saying he thought they should have won the game, I turned it off, I couldn't watch it, they really are up themselves, can't wait until they fall off the top which won't be long

just had a look at Pasoti, JacobS is stupid enough to be a sh*thead.
No thuggery from the Gas, if anything too soft
Admit your team were comprehensively outplayed, no long ball hoofery, no thuggery, no nastiness, just outplayed.

JB had a reputation for being a bit of a thug throughout his playing career, so he must encourage his teams to act the same now that he's a manager. They obviously feel that's evidence enough. Impeccable logic 🤔

So, 7th biggest city in England, 9th biggest in the UK. I’m pretty sure that they’ve got the date wrong though; I can remember the Bristol 600 celebrations in 1973, marking the 600th anniversary of Bristol getting its Royal charter in 1373, confirming its status as a city & county.
