All but the west terrace open? Im sure everyone will fit in just fine. It sounds like the complete West Stand is closed, with the South Stand also closed, at least to home fans, then that doesn't seem to leave a lot of seats available. I'd imagine at £15 a ticket the East Stand seats will soon sell out. Don't know how they expect people with disabilities to make it up to the East Stand seats - very poor. The club need to make it clear what arrangements are in place for disabled fans.

If they don’t take this seriously and open the West Terrace, then I won’t take it seriously either and won’t bother

I just think that this should be included with the information about which stands will be open, rather than us having to chase the club for it.

Used to love the FA Cup but things like this just devalue it further. If I lived in Bristol I would still go but having the hassle of applying and paying for my own seat together with a 250 mile round trip I may sit this one out. When have we ever not had to apply & pay for our own seats for cup games? It's hardly a difficult task now anyway. You're too young to remember Topper! Back in the 1960's you used to have the option to pay a little more for the season ticket and all cup games were included. You could also see lots of games free for your season ticket in those days, all friendlies included, all reserve teams games included (the club used to play in the Football Combination which was a normal size league so lots of home games) and all youth team games (again a bigger league those days and we had some really high quality youth players, the likes of Wayne Jones, Frankie Prince, Larry Taylor, Larry Lloyd just to mention a few). Are things better now?

Having watched the good PJT game v Swindon, I think our second string would be more than a match for teams in league 2 (in fact I think they would be very much in the top ten).
I have no qualms about Jakkola, Hoole, Kilgour, Connelly, Clarke, McCormick, Whelan, Lawrence, Saunders, Marquis and Coburn playing v Rochdale.
No doubt they would be up for it with plenty to prove.
If is just a tenner and a quid a kid, I say bring a mate and watch us rampage into round two. If we get advance ticket sales of over 6,000 surely they would open the West Stand and then it is problem solved for those fans who don't want to watch from anywhere else.
I am sure there will be lots of fans going into work tomorrow who will chat to Rovers fans who didn't go and tell them that they missed out on a great game. If you let them know the cup game is reduced admission and likely that it will still be great football with lots of goals that might entice others to come along to join in the fun.

I'm not sure Coburn has much to prove!! Assuming we don't have a mid week game on the following Tuesday I can see JB putting a mixture of 1st team players and reserves out. I'd imagine he'd like to see his side take on a Championship or better side in the 3rd round
