Due to various reasons some sellers can't make it tomorrow.
We will have Sue and Jackie in the two huts.
James by the home gates.
Dave out by Trubshaw Close
And myself in the SC Cabin.
Only 300 available so get there early if you want one.
Cheers, Jamie. Matchday organiser.

Only 300 programmes available? Shocking!
They will sell out by 2 o'clock.
Do the club actually want to try and make money?
Too many people seem to have an easy life as Wael bails the club out.

Three hundred seems a very small amount, surely we sell more than that each game? Saying that I can't remember the last time I bought one or actually read one,yet I have a box full of eastville and twerton ones, guess the internet has helped kill it off.

I'm probably old fashioned but I always buy one if I can as I see it as part of the match day experience. Not only that I find them a good read and value for money

I believe that Talk Sport have a documentary on air today about the demise of the printed programme. The person who made the documentary is “pro print”. The preview sounded very interesting, I’m going to have a listen on catch up over the weekend.

They didn't sell out. Probably 100 left unsold.

They didn't sell out. Probably 100 left unsold. Interestingly this goes to show that the “can’t believe we didn’t print enough” thoughts by some are actually a long way out on demand. 200 sold shows that not many do buy them and this seemed a decent / fair number that the club produced, along with the West being closed as the demand simply isn’t there

I bought one. It was an ok read. Several decent articles, fewer adverts than in the 60s and 70s but probably not as good as the programme in the 2000s / 2010s. At least the team today is better! Today’s was a bit retro based on the 3-3 draw at Eastville in September 1969, when I was also there which I thought was a good idea and appealed to me. In the end if they can only shift a few hundred programmes and there’s a 100 left and the demand for one isn’t there it’s days will be numbered. It sounds as if it won’t worry too many but I would miss it and as I’ve banged on about things like this, today it may be the programme that will go, next season or in the future it may be something else that someone else values. Can’t stop progress but I still think it’s a shame.
UTG!

Not sure what happened there?
I have sold out the majority of games since the FGR game last season and quite often before 2.15.
On the Trubshaw entrance yesterday very few fans actually walked past me, (felt a bit like a PJ Trophy game) but even then I think I only had 7 programmes left.
Someone who bought a 50/50 did say that they don't buy cup programmes as they are reduced number of pages, but the price is not proportionately reduced!
Also, I did mention on a previous post well in advance, but it is my Mrs birthday v Fleetwood so I will be AWOL.
If you would like to volunteer, please speak to Jamie at the SC match day shop before 1pm.
Otherwise any programme or 50/50 buyers may have to look for alternative sellers. Ps, they may not have scope to accept cash and pay on their own cards.

Just bumping so the fans who buy from the Trubshaw entrance are aware of the lack of sellers and also if there are any possible volunteers out there who wish to help increase the monies raised by the FC.
