Key Areas for Improvement in January Window?
For me :
1. Central Midfield - Box to Box style player 2. Wide Forward - Pacy and impactful 3. Solid Full back

We definitely need some cover for Finley, Rossiter, Coutts. McCormick needs to be the player we signed and can do that box to box role. LB/LWB still my no.1 need for the window. Especially with Clarke now injured. I don’t think we’ll add a forward unless Marquis Sinclair or Saunders moves on. But that is a possibility. Or Anderson becomes free!

Don't know how realistic these signings would be, but if we were shopping for players in League Two, playing well, I'd go for:
Matty Foulds (Bradford City) - Left Back / Centre Back Michee Etefe (Grimsby Town) - Right Back Sam Hoskins (Northampton Town) - Right Winger / Forward

Regarding Outgoings surely times up for the following:
Alfie Kilgour Trevor Clarke Josh Grant Glenn Whelan (full time coach) Zain Westbrooke
Also concerned Scotty Sinclair will get a Champ move....
That would likely give us an extra £15k per week wages to work with for incomings?

They can only go if A) someone wants them or B) Their contract is paid up I thought Whelan is paid as a coach, nothing to free up there, or do you want rid? Grant and Clarke injured so no one is going to sign them. You missed out Rodman, though same story. Apart from Clarke are their contracts up end of season?

Whelan I meant as in shouldn't be registered after Jan, he had a good spell with us after a great career but isn't anywhere near the level anymore. Grant would probably be good for a lower end L2 move if someone was willing to take a gamble on his injury issues. Think Clarke could get a comfy L2 move with ease regardless of injury. Rodman has and always was a huge waste of wages, get gone ASAP. Think you are right, all contracts up except TC.

Some potential decent pickups from National League:
James McShane (Dorking Wanderers) Alex Reid (Solihull Moors) Reece Grego-Cox (Woking) Ryan Seager (Dorking Wanderers)

If you want players with genuine potential to play at this level, then Ruben Rodrigues (Notts County), Kacper Lopata (Southend), Kyran Lofthouse (Woking) and Joe Sbarra (Solihull Moors) are the ones. Lopata even lived in Horfield when he was younger and has come a long way since playing for Shaftesbury Crusade and Clevedon Town.

Been told by a Bradford city season ticket holder that Dion Pereira is heading our way in January as Luton town want him to play in league one for the remainder of the season , don’t know anything about him apart from he’s a pacy forward playing winger. Anyone else know more about this rumour or player ?

Yeah - he’s one of our best strikers in recent times and helped us to back-to-back promotions.

That would likely give us an extra £15k per week wages to work with for incomings? If Westbrooke leaves how will that free up any wages as there's no way another club will take on his contract without a big contribution from Rovers? I can't see Grant going anywhere, apart from a short term loan, as Manger (or JB?) only spoke highly of him this week. I can only see Kilgour and Rodman departing, it's pointless making Whelan a full time coach if he can still make the odd sub appearance for another 6 months.

We need cover and Joey doesnt rate him in the way we play so most likely to go Trevor Clarke - no chance before his injury and definitely wont leave now before the summer Josh Grant - again, injured so no point. Joey likes him so think he will get another chance in the summer. Not going anywhere in Jan Glenn Whelan (full time coach) - Makes little difference, we'd have to sign quite a few to fill our squad spaces so expect him to remain registered Zain Westbrooke - would love him to get taken, but dont see it happening. We could pay off his contract, but if we are going to pay him anyway, Joey may decide to keep him here. Cant be good for anyone but will probably be here to the end of his contract Also concerned Scotty Sinclair will get a Champ move.... - I'd be surprised. He may be frustrated playing wing back tho, so not certain to stay on
