Had the e-mail from the Club saying:
With the news that our game against Boreham Wood will now be played on Sunday 27th November at 2pm, the club is pleased to announce the following plans for ticket sales:
Saturday 10 a.m. – tickets will go on sale to all Season Ticket holders, with their seat/space reserved for purchase until 9.59am on Monday 14th November.
Monday 10 a.m. – all tickets will be released for a general Season Ticket holder sale, allowing you to purchase from the remaining tickets not taken by Season Ticket holders.
Which is great, but according to the Official BRFC site, the Club Shop to purchase tickets is closed on a Monday. I mean seriously.

I am moaning because I was sent an e-mail about how to purchase tickets, as per my post above. You think it's ok to say you can go and purchase tickets when the Shop is shut?

Opening more of the ground by the sounds of it for this game . Just the West Stand seats? With additional West terrace if required. Hoping it attracts a few "cant make Saturdays" fans. And reasonably priced too. Hope its a good atmosphere.

Don't panic everyone, all Season Tickets holders who want their regular seats can go to the Shop Saturday and get them. You won't be able to get them Monday as the Shop is shut but according to lavalamp you can get them online. If you can. Or trust the online service. So no worries. Forget I mentioned it. Good luck.

No information for people who will displaced from the seats in the MKJ Family Stand. Some ambulant disabled fans in there, I believe the West Stand is usually taken up by season ticket holders, who may wish to claim their seats for this game, and the East Stand is not accessible for people such as myself.
I did contact Tom Gorringe after the Rochadale game, and he said that the club would review publicising this information for the next round. That worked out well, didn't it?

Yet again those in the MKJ stand are being treated as 2nd class fans. First round half the ground not open including said stand. This time it is closed because of Boreham Wood fans in the South Stand requiring access to the catering facilities in the corner. And if the west enclosure has to be opened how will fans be segregated? So what is going to happen when Derby or Sheffield Wednesday have the whole of the South Stand, will we be chucked out again! Becoming a bit of a joke except it is not funny.

Thanks Keygas, just playing devils advocate about being chucked out for a league game. I do question if the club actually know what they are doing. If we had offered a quid a kid for the first round and opened the whole ground then we would probably have got 6 to 7,000.

Agree with you there, but I think you will find that because gate revenue for cup games are shared , both clubs have to agree on pricing.

I happened to be sat next to a Rochdale fan in the East Stand all the way through the first round game. We had managed to have a pleasant afternoon, chatted about football and life in general and we didn't even come to blows. I know there's still trouble at Premier League games but no one is really interested in dealing with it, there's too much money at stake. If your local pub was witnessing massive anti social behaviour every time it was open, it would soon have its license revoked. Same should happen with clubs, the country is in enough financial trouble without having to spend money policing morons. A few rounds of closed doors matches at Premier League level would soon see whether the public wanted football as a entertainment option. Maybe we should lead the way and and end segregation at the Mem, I've got a feeling the world wouldn't end.

There are some Ambulant Disabled fans in the MJK who were unable to access seats up in the East Stand, he said that they would take this on board.

I like the sentiment, but if you sit in the MJK South West Stand you’d see the awful behaviour of a few people in the away seating next to families, threatening and trying to climb over the separating mesh… and this is on the majority of weeks. It’s a minority of fans, at a majority of clubs at all levels sadly. No way would I feel comfortable with segregation being removed.

I have to say that it is in fact the presence of that mesh that encourages these idiots to behave in such a manner. They are safe in the knowledge that they are being kept apart so can shout whatever abuse they like without fear of getting a smack in the mouth. I've been at games at the Mem against the likes of Leeds, a well known yob club and afterwards walked across the car park chatting about the game. I have a suspicion its the presence of the segregation that leads to a lot of pseudo violent behaviour. Its the old road rage thing, from the comfort of their car its amazing have violent people are and yet if you bump into someone in the supermarket everyone apologises to each other. It just seems weird to me that in this day and age grown adults cant be trusted. it would be a brave move but I wouldn't mind betting if we removed any semblance of segregation at the Boreham Wood game it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference. On the other hand if, at the end of the game, the police put a cordon across the car park to keep fans separate some Einstein would think it would be a good idea to hurl abuse. It would take a change in attitude by fans but it would be nice to think we could start the ball rolling at the Mem

Drives you nuts though doesn't it. Although one trip to Plymouth makes you realise it's still 1984 there
