I have already seen more promotion/advertising of this game than the Rochdale game altogether.
Not sure of Boreham Woods home gates but would hope they bring more than Rochdale (maybe a few Bristol based Gunners may take an interest?), so hopeful of a bigger attendance than the last round.
Hopefully better weather at least!

Hopefully better weather at least! Very poor home support - less than 1000 ( without away support included ). Seem to remember their Chairman complaining about lack of support the other season when they were near the top and going for promotion to theEFL.

I think they get a large percentage of fairweather fans who turn up for the bigger games. Would not be surprised if they bring around 50% of their usual home average attendance.

I did Boreham Wood in January on a day trip for the third round match Vs Wimbledon. Watford jackets & bobble hats EVERYWHERE!

Yet again those in the MKJ stand are being treated as 2nd class fans. First round half the ground not open including said stand. This time it is closed because of Boreham Wood fans in the South Stand requiring access to the catering facilities in the corner. And if the west enclosure has to be opened how will fans be segregated? So what is going to happen when Derby or Sheffield Wednesday have the whole of the South Stand, will we be chucked out again! Becoming a bit of a joke except it is not funny. In this day and age its ever more ridiculous that grown adults have to be segregated for gods sake. I happened to be sat next to a Rochdale fan in the East Stand all the way through the first round game. We had managed to have a pleasant afternoon, chatted about football and life in general and we didn't even come to blows. I know there's still trouble at Premier League games but no one is really interested in dealing with it, there's too much money at stake. If your local pub was witnessing massive anti social behaviour every time it was open, it would soon have its license revoked. Same should happen with clubs, the country is in enough financial trouble without having to spend money policing morons. A few rounds of closed doors matches at Premier League level would soon see whether the public wanted football as a entertainment option. Maybe we should lead the way and and end segregation at the Mem, I've got a feeling the world wouldn't end. I've always thought this. Would love clubs to have "safe areas", before and even after the game, to chat with opposition fans (where you can register, giving your name and address). When I was a youngster, my dad used to take us to away grounds and go into home bars and have great chats with opposition fans with no trouble at all. Seems impossible to do now. Believe it or not, managed to walk up Filton Avenue with a family from Plymouth the other week, even walked past the yobs (from both sides) causing trouble and we had a good discussion about that and what a great game it was.

I looked at the guides for home and away fans for the Fleetwood game. The fan zone is not advertised to away fans which I think is a shame and is only found by accident. Only Scunthorpe last year had a noticeable presence. It's not the sort of place that would 'kick off' IMO. I've been in the Oxford bar and as the doorman said we'd have been idiotic to start trouble when in the very small minority

Just got our seats, nice and easy, no booking fees or delivery charges, saved into the wallet on the phone. Let’s hope we use this game to give a few fringe players a run out, try a few things, but ensure we go through and try to generate some money and a nice day out with a big draw away in the 3rd round. Looking forward to this one 👍

Looking forward to this one 👍 I’d rather we treat it as a league game and put a full strength team out, it’s a proper banana skin fixture in my opinion and I’d be gutted if BW got a big draw in the 3rd round in our place.

I can recall non segregation days when football violence was awful in the 70's As said above it's a real shame for the civilised fans who are perfectly capable of enjoying watching a match stood side by side and I have to say that can be a nice experience. Sadly it's a minority who make it not possible. Personally I believe that segregation seems to give licence to fans to chant what they want in the safety of knowing they are at distance, it's a bit like keyboard warriors. And then there's the contradiction witnessed on the West Enclosure on Sat. We had just marked Remembrance, part of which is about the brave men and women paying the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in a civilised and democratic world, yet when Fleetwood scored their first, a number of 50/60 somethings were having a go at Fleetwood people in club ties in the directors area behind for celebrating a goal. It's just a game, it's not a war and there are far worse issue right now in this world. I despair! It would be good to trial a safe area. In some pubs and certainly down the chippy you can enjoy meeting fellow football fans for a good chat about their team and the game in general. It doesn't have to be all us and them.

Recall running the line at Spotland( Rochdale) when their match Day programme wasn't the normal glossy type but a duplicated effort. They had just been reprieved for the umpteenth time from Re election(Barrow dipped out as no-one wanted to travel that far on a wet tuesday night in Jan) and the old lady came into the changing room to say,'We didn't think we stood a chance of re election again so most of the staff were let go.They have taken me on as secretary and I love it so if I have done anything wrong don't report it just tell me'. Think if Rochdale was that wonderful, Gracie Fields wouldn't have lived in Capri!!!!!

Really watered off that it's been switched to Sunday, booked the Saturday off work and working Sunday, bloody fannys. Not sure it was ever Saturday at 3pm? At time of draw they give the range of dates (usually Fri-Monday) then TV and the clubs decide on date and time. Assumption it was Sat at 3pm possibly? With WC on it was always liable to be a different time or day

Away fans have their own bar area next to the away entrance.
Although many away fans have had to go to the Welly instead as they were not told it was cashless beforehand!
