Disappointed to hear that there will be no further re-stocking of any junior sizes in the completely sold out training range and away kits. With there having been no stock after a few weeks of the season, and none during the kid’s birthdays I had hoped I could get some for Christmas but apparently there will be no further replenishment. Shame really as at £45 for a track top and £37 for away shirt, and even £12.50 for socks, there’s a likelihood that there would have been £200 spent with the club and then represented on training pitches throughout the week, which will instead probably go on a Premier League club top as it’s needed for their football training. Totally understand the demand, lead times, and prediction element but would think they could sort a more plain version of some of the training stuff quicker. Real shame. Great to know the demand is there and people want it, but gutted it’s not available as a revenue stream and a way of kids getting local sports clubs on the training pitches each week

Most stock appears low not just junior stuff and not just training items.

I’ve been wanting to invest in a new heavy duty Rovers coat for years.
To my knowledge since macron we had those flasher style long length coats, but they were not to my liking.
Surely they would be in a reasonable demand.

Surely they would be in a reasonable demand. There appears to be three coats there, one long. brfcdirect.co.uk/collections/adult-training

Most stock appears low not just junior stuff and not just training items. Yes, does look that way. My disappointment is that I was told that is it, and they’ll be getting no more junior stuff in at all this season now, which seems a crazy miscalculation on demand. Great that we are selling it, but a shame that we aren’t growing the fan base and brand by getting all the kids out there in shirts, Training tops, and jackets!

It seems odd to virtually sell out before Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Xmas, which surely are the time most kit is bought for youngsters?

It seems odd to virtually sell out before Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Xmas, which surely are the time most kit is bought for youngsters? From memory, this often happens at "smaller" clubs. I presume that there is a minimum order for new supplies of kit, and they would have to take the risk of selling enough, not a problem if you're a prem club, of course.

To have effectively had no kits or training wear available for kids since September though seems odd as I’ve never struggled to get them stuff like this year.

I guess the club is worried about over ordering stuff it then needs to flog on the cheap which can make some people wait it out “because it’ll be cheaper in the new year / end of season sales”

My sister ordered something for me for Christmas that appeared in stock only to be sent a message to be told it in fact wasn’t in stock.
This is after something very similar happened last year to her.
We’re told the club is modernising but it feels like we’re missing ample opportunities for revenue generation. Missing an open goal.

Yep, very disappointing. I was prepared to spend up to £100 on my nephew just now as he supports both the gas and Man U. Unfortunately, that money will now be spent on UTD gear. Missed opportunity by the club to be this low on stock right before Christmas.

I am not sure of sizes but Crossed Swords do some very good merchandise and the SC have also new lines.
Rather than potentially buying dodgy gear on line from who knows who, at least you know that some of the profit from sales from CS and the SC goes to the club.

I doubt a youngster will be very impressed with a £5 T-Shirt with a badge stuck on it as a Christmas present! It's really beyond belief that all the Junior sized replica shirts are already sold out in November.

Totally agree with this. I would be spending at least £16 a game in the food hut near us if they ever had stock. I’ve attended every home game and only been able to get food 3 times this season due to selling out. You’d think the kits would never be sold at a loss even at the end of the season and the profit before that would make it worth the availability. Hopefully they take note for next season and can capitalise more

If we win on Sunday and get one of the really big clubs away, the demand will be huge.
I hope the club would be able to act quickly before the hawkers move in with their universal template "Blues" in the cup tees ready made for Everton, Brum etc etc

It's really beyond belief that all the Junior sized replica shirts are already sold out in November. Your right, the kids nowadays want a £40 replica polyester shirt with a badge sewn on it that will be out of date in a few months time, rather than a £5 cotton tee with a badge stuck on it that shows who you support but isn't restricted by its date. Kids must have the latest kit and gizmos and no doubt feel left out if they don't get one. I remember when I was a kid, replica shirts hardly existed. I had a blue tee shirt and I hand wrote Bristol Rovers FC on it and used my imagination. If there is no club stock, better to buy from Crossed Swords and SC so at least the FC benefits.
