If he is going to sign for Portsmouth, a club who sit 6 points off the relegation zone and 10 points off the last play off place one division above with in all honesty a pretty awful Manager and very doubtful that he will turn them into a promotion chasing team. Be interesting to see where he ends up having now had his contract terminated at Bournemouth which completely rules out all the rubbish spouted on here about us paying a higher portion of his wages than Wimbledon for a loan till the seasons end. The ball is now totally in Tubbs court so he can do what he wants.

This tubbs things got a bit like the new stadium for me. I'm just willing to wait and see because all the gossip and rumours does my head in and it also seems to cause a lot of bickering between us Gasheads. If we sign him on a short - ish deal and don't pay stupid money I'm cool with that.

I just hope the board are now giving it a lot less attention than we are on here and are moving on to other targets.

Pompey is never a wise career move.
however, they seem to get players due to money, and potential.
I also assume they have some good facilities.
And for Tubbs it is local.
Personally I think they are a bit of a basket case for the time being.

We don't know the terms of the contract termination, as I can't see Tubbs tearing up a rumoured £5K a week contract or Pompey paying that a week. It could well be Tubbs as got a nice pay off from Bournemouth knowing that he can pick £1.5K+ elsewhere. Whether there's any truth in Rovers being interested or not will never be known, perhaps it was all a cover story whilst we try and complete the signing of somebody like Easter?

I just bought 2 big bags of chocolate coins from Aldi for 29p each (the kids will never know...). Maybe we can use them to sweeten the deal? Some of them they are actually bigger than normal coins, so surely must be worth more?
