Busy on New Year's Day.
The Robins from Gloucester are coming South.
The North Terrace is practically sold out.
As usual.
Similarly, the West Terrace has very few left.
Wade's Reds will be looking for revenge.
The team might need our vocal support.

I hate this season so much. I won’t go unless it’s The North Stand and it’s always sold out. I live too far away for a season ticket to be worth it and like to decide on the day. This reduced capacity is killing me!

This reduced capacity is killing me! That’s the gamble ! With our ( pathetic) capacity and recent success I doubt you’ll get any more chances this season to just rock up on the day and get in the Thatchers end .

No longer in nailsea. I’ve tried other stands I just don’t enjoy the lack of atmosphere and lots of my friends are in the North stand. Whenever I go somewhere else I always feel like I’m standing in someone else’s space too. Oh well away games it is for me.

I would believe you apart from the fact they don’t sing. Might have to start a new singing section and annoy all the old gits!

Not sure there are many away games you can make the decision on the day to travel? Plus surely you can at least plan ahead for this week's two home games?

Also, no such thing as ‘standing in someone’s space’ on a terrace. Doesn’t matter if it’s your first game or 1000th. Friend of mine was terrorised by some old hag the other week claiming she’d stood in ‘her spot’ at the front of the thatchers end. genuinely went mental right up in her face right after the game (I believe it was Peterborough at home) my friend is a Gashead of 16 years now but had been “accused” of “never having been here before”. Quite incredible stuff, lucky she’s thick skinned and stood her ground to the max. Imagine this was someone’s first ever visit to Bristol Rovers🤯🤦🏻 Anyway, long winded way of saying doesn’t matter where you stand/sit in the ground or on any terrace, if you want to see the game bad enough get wherever you can💪🏻

Do the west and east sides sing much? Its difficult to tell from the Thatcher's. I presume they join in with Irene and ggmi as these are the 2 most apparent loudest songs?

I’m on the East in line with the edge of the box. No one sings, the very rare joining in of Irene but apart from that nothing 👍🏻

East and West do join in. No roof doesn't help. Have sat in south stand and you can hear the Thatchers well but its only when you get it from all sides that it gets vociferous

I’d say they join but not passionately. And it’s more like 10s and 20s rather than 100s

Another block of seats now available in the South Stand. Might have been returned by Cheltenham.
