Yatton your asking for a miracle ! 💙UTG I think I may come to that or an alternative conclusion at the end of this season. During his first two years he has overseen relegation, overseen an immediate promotion and we currently sit in our average league position. So nothing dramatic in the cold light of day. Currently the team, his team, appears to be very unbalanced to me. A potent strike force, a very mediocre midfield which also lacks creative spark and a defence that looks chaotic without a defined shape. Off the pitch the club is now run by Barton and his mates and/or cronies. There appears to be no executive checks and balances. No well run organisation is managed that way. This, in my opinion, represents a huge risk to the long term viability of the club. So as a supporter I have enjoyed the odd 45 mins this season and held my head in my hands for the other 45 mins. So for me nothing has really been achieved yet in "net" terms and the risks loom large.
What risks are looming large, that's the type of nonsense SwissGas and Old Frank (are they the same person?) keep coming out with but we only seem to get stronger as a club, what are the actual risks? We might get promoted &/or we bank £m's from seliing Collins?

I think most Gasheads are just enjoying what Joey has now instilled in our club. An attractive brand of football, a well drilled squad, encouraging a never give up attitude, a positive mindset where no passengers are carried. No, it doesn’t always work but most of our fanbase leave games feeling they can’t wait for the next game.
Most I chat too haven’t ever felt as entertained or hopeful.

Biggest disappointment on that list for me was Oztumer he was outstanding at Walsall came with high expectations but was half the player when he was playing for the Gas just never seemed to get going I wasn’t over excited about his arrival at the time. His best days were clearly behind and most fan enthusiasm was based on his performances against us many years before.

I guess 42 goals scored and 43 conceded makes for exciting games🤫

Just the same as when any manager leaves, we'll have to go out and find a replacement, the fact that TW stayed on when both DC and BG left was hardly a great success. Although there's no obvious signs JB plans on leaving any time soon and, fortunately for us, most likely a lot of clubs would never consider appointing JB as their manager.

You would hope that Wael has learnt from this. What happens to the management infrastructure at any club when a manager leaves? An example, although in the Premier League, when Graham Potter left Brighton for Chelsea he basically took everyone from the management and coaching team with him. Brighton are better now financially and on the pitch within a few months of him leaving.

& Joey’s first squad, ya know the one people genuinely believed he should’ve kept in league One😂😭Reads like an absolute horror show! Day Williams Kilgour Harries Leahy McCormick Grant Upson Rodman Hanlan Nicholson Substitutes van Stappershoef Westbrooke Daly Ayunga Baldwin Oztumer Koiki And the added extra that I almost forgot…. Barton turns up and half the squad were chewing tobacco during training! Crazy stuff www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/joey-barton-rages-bristol-rovers-5323046

EJ seems to have a similar role to TW, so it's hardly a major issue replacing a DoF, assuming they are poached we should be adequately compensated.

Did an acorn just fall on your head. If you can't enjoy what's happening at the club at the moment, then you'll probably never be happy until we're tonking Real Madrid and Barcelona on a regular basis in the Champions league (within 5 years I expect).

That team could have been relegated from league 2 lol I put £50 on us to be promoted 😂 When we signed Ehmer and Baldwin I thought we were gonna really push the boat out on more signings, at that point I would have bet on it myself! But then we just signed a bunch of kids and not enough attacking players, by the the of the window I did not feel good about our chances lol
