tickets.itfc.co.uk/en-GB/categories/awayThis is why we need to expand the Memorial season in the short term. We still need to play the other Big Six . We could easily be getting gates of 12000 plus with very large away followings. However they are restricted to 1200 ?.

Maybe ? . However with our average home gate 9000 . If you add on the large followings of up to 8 away sides . We could be pushing 12000 plus. Plymouth would of brought up another 2000 even Exeter.

It is no surprise that The Tractor Boys sold out their allocation so quickly.
Although midweek and night fixtures have lower attendance figures than weekend games they have a huge travelling support.
If you have East Anglian friends and relatives they may well be in contact in the weeks ahead.
The following is taken from Fan Banter.
" Ipswich Town have an average away attendance of 1,759 for the 2022/23 season after 13 away games played as of the 5th of January (when these stats came out).
The total amount of travellers for the club sits at 22,866, the highest is 3,139 while the lowest is 1,081.
The League One average amount of miles is 164, for Ipswich, their average across a full season is 182.
Ipswich Town had an average away attendance of 1,799 for 2021/22, with the club finishing 11th place in the EFL League One table, picking up 70 points from 46 games.
Their highest following was 6,850 to MK Dons, their lowest was 846 to Accrington.
There was no average away attendance figure for the 2020/21 season due to the coronavirus pandemic preventing fans going to games.
The average away attendance Ipswich Town had for the 2019/20 season was 1,741. "
