Revealing Unless new loan goalkeeper Balcombe does not play in the first three matches after signing. Rovers will have to play Brentford a substantial loan fee. So Morecambe. MK Dons and Lincoln he will be starting.
He also revealed he does not get paid enough and he finances some of the backroom staff from his own pocket.
Also said players agreed won't pay gasheads travelling expenses for the ill fated trip to Morecambe.
He was glad January window is over and keeping Collins & Coburn was pleasing (No firm bids for Collins) but hinted this Summer Collins will probably consider enhancing his career elsewhere.

Plus Summer sale of Collins will help finance four replacements.

THE ETERNAL OPTIMIST.
That's why he is a good fit for The Gas.
Unless you think otherwise.
THE PERPETUAL PESSIMIST.
That is a bad fit for us.

I like him saying we need a u23s to bridge the gap between the u18s and first team. It should have been in place already of course, but hopefully will be soon. Some cracking players out there with potential that could be developed for the first team, especially lads in non-league similar to the ones we've developed and sold on in years gone by.

Glad the players won’t be sending any money back (even though I paid for my mates ticket and would be a decent 40 quid in the sky rocket) they do owe me and 600 others 3 points Saturday🤘🏼

Plus Summer sale of Collins will help finance four replacements. I can cope with that as long as he doesn’t join another league one side.

They had a dire game, but aren't multi millionaires and should never have to contemplate paying supporters back. 3 points against Milton Keynes would be a great payback. UTFG. 🏴☠️

I don't think the recruitment was good enough in that area, but to completely get rid of the whole u23 setup was idiotic IMHO.

Not sure who the manager was when we scrapped the u23s. It was dwindling along for a while and a token gesture for ages, especially in the latter days. Even when we started it DC said the lads in u23s were earning peanuts anyway. Edit: Anis Mehmeti is a great example of successful u23 recruitment. Released by a top pro club at a young age, drops into non-league with Woodford Town and then a little while later is recruited into Wycombe's U23 setup. 3 years later he is sold on to the teds for what is a Wycombe Wanderers club record fee received.
