He knows that all too well, but it's important we now stick together and support the lads through this bad patch. Sometimes you have to go through the bad to enjoy the good, this is one of those moments and hopefully better results are around the corner. Need to get back on the training ground, redouble efforts and work hard on finding solutions ASAP. Perhaps the manager should stop the first team playing the under 18's in training and hammering them 9-0. What good does that do to anyone from either side? Been a very strange month, from the horrorshow performances, to Barton storming off early at Accrington, this latest news you present of us hammering kids in training, to our transfer window attempts to sign a player ineligible to join the club and the failure to bring in adequate number of players. What the **** is going on?

definitely . Location is so crucial. Once a player has a family its very hard to get them down from areas with a density of clubs to choose from. Absolute rubbish. Money is all How do you know that for certain, just because DC said years ago players would move clubs for a fiver?

that must have been a depressing place to visit Judge not lest ye be judged my friend. I am not here to garner popularity, I have good friends and am happy. You seem angry and bitter, both very negative traits, not good for your health but I will leave you to learn your own way Good luck. You give the impression you're just here to moan about Wael & JB, if you aren't, then why do you only post critical posts about the club and even managed to get yourself banned by doing it?

Why worry, the keeper only has one more game for Rovers and then another club and door closes on Rovers. The recent window was a shocker, is it possible all other clubs approached for loan players by Rovers in the window might have rung Burnley first and asked them why Thomas asked to be returned to his parent club. If you had Barton and Jennings breathing down your neck as a young player that could set your career back so don't risk going to Rovers. What would you sooner have, the Trollope approach and increased Corona sales in the bar? It's good a manager is showing an interest in his players particularly when he's based in another city. JB clearly did something right last season with Thomas, Taylor and Anderson?

The 'highlights' of the match just goes to prove we didn't create a chance worth mentioning at home to a team in the relegation zone. Just not good enough again.

Well it was tough day, I’m wondering if we are still dealing with the ripple effect of the rollercoaster Exeter match? At 3-2 up in that game we were kicking the doors to the play offs down, announcing our arrival on the big stage don’t you know and… Where have all the flowers gone? The new keeper made a great save and seemed okay, maybe with the contract shenanigans belshaw has been given some time off? Quansoh (?) made a couple of great clearance/challenges in the second half That dons player getting levelled at point blank range by our keepers slashed clearance was a highlight Best thing was at least we weren’t sat directly under the broken flashing striplights at the back of the m j k stand, that would have really felt like the end of days I think. Where's this info come from: "maybe with the contract shenanigans belshaw has been given some time off?" That's the first time that's been suggested is the reason for the fallout?

In his pre match interview JB talked about Belly having an injury and a guy near me said that he had a bad gash or something. When i was at Cambridge away , Belly came for treatment right in front of me and the physio pulled his socks down. He had a large cut down the front of his leg which i could see was either stapled or stitched up. it looked quite deep and was nearly a foot long and they sprayed it so it was obviously painful. No-one talked of resting him then. I don't think it was the injury but just that JB thought that the crowd would sing his name if he was on the bench - which would be distracting for Ellacombe. He was probably right .

I'm sure you think that's some clever word play so you can later deny making a claim but I've seen this a 1000 times before. You know nothing, and insinuate a lot of negative about Rovers every time you post. Is it possible everything you write is a load of old horse w**k? Personally I don't like Barton and I can't wait for him to be gone but why make sh** up? Barton has a particular style, some players will love it, some will hate it and others with be professional and ignore the stuff that annoys them. Exactly the same as every other manager. Some players are going to thrive under him. Some are going to have a hissy and want out. Happens at every single football club from kids football to the Premier League and everyone knows it.

Just got back...
Headless chicken. Possession based football. 3min home debut. Loyalty. Loan claws. We've been well and truly sussed..
These were all talking points. Briefly....
Our headless chicken play in possession with no structure and relying on second half improved performance is wearing and taxing on the average GasHead. This is supported by the lack of atmosphere after the 16th minute, when, very rarely, we heard the Mem in full voice until second half where we bothered their Keeper once - a Finley speculation from 25 yards - a regulation standard catch into the belly from someone cumming.
Possession based stats are all very good and well if you get the result you desire more often than not! I disagree with JAB post match comments....he didn't have to pay to watch the stop, side and inside pass from Gordon every time or the non existent threat from the right rendering our flank attack impotent. I did. So did some of you. When does it matter having 58 % possession when you do nothing with it....? It reminds me of a scenario of Quasimodo having the biggest c0ck in the world - what's the point?
The home debut of Quansah should be judged after 3 mins.... The naivety of no 3rd division football taught him the lesson, where fella should have stayed on his feet - he was well capable - but the challenge invited a fall , which he duly did, resulting in my (after event) m o m losing a bit of pride there. A fall before a pride, if you will..
I think the trait most football fans will abide by is loyalty. Loyalty to one's club, colours, players etc and ours is no different. Instinctively, I feel loyalty to Belshaw, and to some extent, Evans whom both have performed above expectations before....a number of us felt bemused with both non involvement - which everyone recognised pre match as a risk - and I wonder in the light of the day whether it paid off? Do we have a goalkeeper that inspires more confidence? Are the set pieces being delivered better? Is there a wonder link between defence and attack? Can we find a Keeper to save a penalty? ....I know early days, but for me, er no to all of those fundamental questions. Which brings us back to loyalty....in my opinion, over the last 3 matches and listening to JAB post match comments, he's made some awful decisions. We've played 3 clubs in the bottom 6 and not even looked like 1 point, let alone winning any of them, and we go on to Lincoln and Ipswich next!......so, how long can anyone remain loyal to a good manager (imo) making bad decisions? It feels like JAB has hit a wall. It feels like JAB has dismantled all the hard work to get us where we are, team spirit, never say die attitude etc, submitting to loan claws, yes claws because the keeper situation feels exactly like that. It feels like JAB is turning BG like where insists on playing out defence when sometimes it's clearly dangerous to do so. If JAB can't inspire loyalty to Belly and Evans, why should there be any for him when he underperforms regularly just as much ...?
Genuine moments of interest were...
A Sinclair shimmy in first half, graceful and delight to watch that bought him time and space to cross....worth some of the admission fee alone!
Kicking off 1970s handbag style in Tent End....well done us again. In the interest of trying to extract the last £ for paying GasHeads, reducing season ticket seats for that area has encouraged any old hooligan to chuck things at away fans! Or young, apparently...
I thought Bogarde had a great cameo, so play him again..
Their number 12....I thought m o m. And their number 42.... amazing continuing to play with a broken leg!!! I mean, you don't see that sort of bravery every day? An athlete, a true wizard of fitness...
So...onto the next match. "I'm just glad we've got 37 points" someone said to me. Hmmmmmm teams have been relegated on more!
Don't press panic just yet, but...

What the **** is going on? To answer your question Pirate, absolutely no idea, was assured last night that the dressing room isn't lost as such, but a strange place to be and odd goings on. If I had to take a guess JB is distracted elsewhere and bringing it into work, something isn't right that's for sure. I found it interesting that JB gave himself 5 out of 10 for the Jan window activity, yet Mangan regarded it as a decent month business wise, I know we all have different opinions but aren't these two glued at the hip?

Why guess at JB being distracted when you clearly haven't a clue what's going on? JB seemed pretty buoyant on HAG with 20men, I doubt he'd have bothered appearing if he had issues elsewhere. He also explained in some detail when January hadn't been as good as he'd hoped it would be. I just hope the Belshaw situation, whatever it is, is now starting to affect the entire squad.

Since cheltenham its as if garner has come back to manage us. Slow ponderous boring passing amongst the back 4 on the 22 yard line trying to find a forward ball to a midfield and front line all static in the middle of the pitch.Yesterday was the first time this season it felt as if the crowd had lost interest in the lack of action in front of them

Take Coutts out of the equation, Ward & Bogarde in from the start and actually take back control of central midfield. That’ll get us ticking again.
Finley trying to be both the playmaker and ball winner in Rossiter’s absence, whilst Coutty’s doesn’t leave the centre circle and plays one two’s with the CB’s all day has shafted us the last few weeks.
Would be gobsmacked if he starts at Lincoln.

The MK fans threw something at us the majority of which were mums and dads with little kids or over 60s and one young lad threw it back. About 8 or 9 MK fans then tried to have a go crossing the covered seats and I've honestly never felt less intimidated by this kind of thing at a football match. South stand is a popular choice for families who want to sit so placing away fans next door probably more the problem - especially when they are jumped up kids bravely taking on a sparsely populated family stand. Awful day, the squad need a lift, maybe even something as small as a bit of good fortune in a game may be the catalyst, it’s very sad to watch players try their best and get nowhere.
One bright spot for me - I thought Bogarde showed some real glimpses of what’s to come, albeit only ten minutes, I think we may have a gem in him.
I trust the lads and management to work hard to turn this slump around 👍🏾
