Soon as i saw 3 upfront with an attacking player (evans) in a midfield 3 i knew we would lose. Joe is not learning is he. Im beginning to wonder if he is capable of managing Rovers beyond league 2 level.
At this stage Joe can not blame players ,other managers ,budgets ,refs or the weather. Its solely down to his game management.
water poor im afraid.

Something drastic has happened behind the scenes. Obviously the Belshaw scenario we all know about but imo sh** has definitely hit the fan internally. You can't go from a very good attacking side with the best front line in the Division, to an absolutely shambolic team that has little to no goal threat in just over a month. Let’s hope we have a bit of fight left in us Was depressing to watch Barton throw in the towel as he leant against the dugout during our last relegation He then got us back up with some wonderfully attacking football Surely he can’t go down, up, down… ?

failure to shore up the inexperienced defence has resulted in failure as we lose 6 from 7. Belshaw must start. That seems to be the turning point since Ballscome has been signed, perhaps it’s affected moral? Who knows but something isn’t right and let’s be fair the bloke doesn’t look great, can he actually catch the ball? Oh well another sh** weekend cheers Gas 😤 No worries though we always win at Poxford UTG!

I wasn’t expecting too much today but I thought we’d get at least a point and once we scored I was confident we’d get that but that was fecking awful.

What’s happened to Collins? Valuation plummeting & Can forget about those Welsh caps next month.
So much talk about the keeper situation yet we’ve forgotten how to score goals on the regular? Enough to win games anyway.
Wasn’t there today so can’t comment on specific performances but that result is truly grim.

Awful day. Getting rid of Trev Clarke for that LB that played today shows me Joey is losing his touch in the transfer market
Would have preferred Belly and Kilgour out there today too. Very poor window he has had.
Need a win from somewhere soon.
Men vs Boys today

Its about attacking football. Strange how the only game we tried keeping a strong core and fast press we kept a clean sheet. It was also Evans best game...hmmm

Collins was excellent last Tuesday playing centre - today he was back to the pre Ipswich performance, playing to deep trying to pick up play, reminds me of when Rooney was falling short - same issues. Balcombe is a flapper and the punching the ball when your average keeper should be able to catch it - dire. Sorry Joey but this is relegation football… here we go again ☹️

Cried off at the last minute today due to the Bombay trots. Watched the game on ifollow. My only comment, that was absolute sh**e and even I am starting to question , what on earth is going on at our club?

Too many young kids and loans. No idea, appeared to have no game plan! Very little confidence. Belshaw needs to start next game nothing against the young keeper but he must be lacking confidence and panicked a little today. Let's hope we do not get caught in a relegation battle.

Should have strengthened in the window with experience. Didn’t. Brought in kids on loan and dropped our experienced very good keeper who has been brilliant for us for one of those kids and we’re in free fall. Todays performance was awful but the most worryingly thing is that it fell apart after a great start and scoring first . When you play well first 10 minutes , score and then completely disintegrate you know you’ve got big problems.

No bones about it, we are in big trouble. Burton were dreadful, worse than anything we played last season on league 2. They had a game plan, zero football, free kicks, throws, everything in the box to expose our soft center and it worked a treat. Don't get me wrong they deserved the win, but boy were we bad. Connolly and Quansah at the back will relegate us. Both Burton goals suspect for offside but don't let that destract from one of the poorest displays I've seen in the last 5 years or so....

Our performance after they equalised was an absolute disgrace! After that, we had 2 shots, ZERO on target! Burton had 14 shots & 7 on target in the 2nd half. We were lucky not to lose 3 or 4-1 in the end.
We wouldn't have scored if we'd been out there until Christmas. I doubt Burton have had an easier 45 minutes than that all season.
To have started the game fairly well and took the lead, and then completely fall apart the way we did, is extremely worrying.
We've lost to 5 sides that are or were fighting relegation, scoring 2, and conceding 12. How is this team going to win another game this season? Honestly think we'll be back in L2 next season.
I would never have believed I'd be saying this 5 weeks ago but I'm beginning to think our only hope is to change the manager. I'm not saying that will keep us up but we can't carry on like this. Where do you draw the line?
Oxford have been in equally poor form, P7, W0, D1, L6. Next weeks game is massive. Lose that and JB has to go in my opinion.

My view was that we were fine until the long stoppage for the spectator who was taken ill, then seemed to have completely lost the plot. The defenders have no confidence in Balcombe (but it was very wrong of the North Terrace to chant for Belshaw during the game). He needs to be dropped and Belshaw reinstated in my opinion. We fell into the trap of playing long hopeful balls, excatly what Burton wanted. Such a shame after a brilliant start to the game. Hoping we can beat Oxford next Saturday as we have Barnsley the following week and they're flying at the moment. Not sure if any of the performances were affected by the illnesses Barton referred to - there was a similar problem earlier in the season when loads of players seemed to be out of sorts and then we found out why that was. Finley back next week - I think with Grant Ward they could be an effective midfield unit and possibly Gibson may be fit again soon.

Just got back...
Question....why has the Wellie put a pool table in the middle of the pub? I've been drinking on Glos Rd since the 80s, I can't recollect any time it's had a pool table!?
Anyhoos, onto less important matters.. Why are we playing so cr@p? I've watched us since the 70s and I can't recollect a time ... yea well you get the idea!?
Barton's losing it. No meltdown here.... just 2 shots on target, one which was a beautifully crafted and we'll executed finish, and um, the other fades into insignificance because we were largely outplayed in midfield (bogarte and ward poor) and had no real answer to play with cohesion or purpose.
That coupled with a tentative defence (where's Connolly from last year) and Quansah that was caught out of position for the first goal and the whole unit decided to do a Benny Hill sketch for the second involving a joke of a goalkeeper, makes their inclusion just seem a cruel selection joke.
The team spirit looks shot. The players look lethargic. Inexperience is gifting opposition easy free kicks set pieces and initiative. Substitutions today arguably made our team weaker.....you need a goal out of something and he takes off Connolly for Hoole!? WTF!? What f in planet ?
Barton is losing it because he's picking (maybe technically gifted kids on the training ground) to do a man's job.
This is the 3rd division. It's uncompromising. It's hard, physical and dirty.
We ain't no Man City yet tip the ball around as if we were....we don't even do that right sometimes!
I can't fault anyone's effort, but whatever perfect storm has engulfed our downturn in form, JAB will have to take responsibility and not come out with b0ll0cks about the ref or conditions, he's got to take this one as poor decision making, but I guess illness plays a part and so will the crowd interruption...
Holy moly! Joey Barton, your football is sh!t....them Burton fans weren't wrong.
*Thoughts go out to whomever needed emergency medical care, hope all ok and recovered.

Utter rubbish , didn’t deliver in the transfer window , lost against yet another poor team. No Confidence I’m this squad whatsoever. Can’t see where the next win is coming from , afraid to say it but we are plummeting down to league 2. Crap !!!!
