Should - as seems likely - Collins be sold this summer (think he'll be keen to give himself the best chance of Wales call ups and have a crack at the Champ) Who should/could we look to replace him? I think we probably need 2 players. Will also need a new 9 to replace Coburn.
Couple I'd like to see us go for
- Alfie May (Chelts) - Ruben Rodriguez (Notts C)
Struggling a bit for wingers. Maybe a young prem loan for this pos

He deserves a decent Championship side (so rules out 'that' one 😇) and would leave with my best wishes.
If it is a Championship side and he goes for decent money, could we tempt one from the Championship looking to kick start or restart their career?
I suspect any funds would need to recruit several players, with us needing to rebuild after losing the loanees.

We could sign his brother and hope football brilliance runs in the family 😁

Maybe just maybe he won't leave, he signed a 3 year contract and we've been told he loves it here

I expect Alfie May will want to move somewhere in the south east where he is from originally - a Cheltenham fan I know said Gillingham are interested

Obvious Collins replacements for me would be Daniel Agyei (Crewe Alex), Abraham Odoh (Rochdale), Kyle Wootton (Stockport County), Sam Hoskins (Northampton Town). All very good goalscorers, with different qualities but similar basis of player to Collins.

Hoskins would be worth a go if Cobblers lose out on promotion again ( ) but he is already 30 so wouldnt want us paying too much for him. If he is out of contract, could be an option

He is a very decent player and a nice lad to boot ..... I really hope he stays with us as I think he has more to learn yet but would absolutely wish him all the best if a good move was there to be had.
On the loanee front for next season - Will be very interesting as I would not be at all surprised if we sign Gibson and Balcombe permanently in the summer and try to get Villa and Liverpool to send us their two young stars for the whole of next season !! Also I heard that JB is very keen to look at the young Polish lad who is being lauded at LFC ... We talked about him in the window but Lamar joined instead which looks like terrific bit of business at the moment.

Collins has done very well for us but I do not think he is up to championship football. League one is as far as he can get.

Maybe just maybe he won't leave, he signed a 3 year contract and we've been told he loves it here Depends whether a championship club would come in for him, we recently played Ipswich and Barnsley who are both in the promotion race he struggled against Ipswich and didn't really shine against Barnsley, so he may struggle against Championship teams. Both the snake and Clarke- Harris struggled in the Championship. I think he his better staying here and helping us to promotion.

The snake only joined a Championship side to stop us getting promoted he was never really good enough. Bodin was doing OK until he suffered another serious injury.

Collins I think will do very well in the champ with the right team and formation. Of course I hope he stays and takes us there
Not many suggested possibly replacements yet tho!!

Myles Peart-Harris has been in excellent form for FGR this season. Would happily have him.
Sam Nombe from Exeter would be another top of my shopping list should we have some Collins money to spend.

Is JCH out of contract?
Maybe Joeys comment regarding his being overweight was a back handed compliment? Come to Rovers, I'll make you lean and mean and we are guaranteed 20+ goals as well as some good hold up play and he wins a lot of free kicks to keep the pressure of the defence.
