I left Bristol in 2018 relocated to Somerset where I did become homeless for just over 2 1/2 years. My last game I saw was around Late March or early April at a very good guess. So for me about 5 Years. I have my own flat now since September of last year and I'm now working again so I aim to be able to start attending games again this coming new season Well done G73. Great news you are finding and getting back on your feet again.

Three years and four months and glad to say I never watched Rovers play as a non league club. Interesting. That season absolutely ruled! I missed 4 games (2 home/2 away)

Local football, youth and adult on Sat afternoons.
Adult home pitch Eastville Park in the 80’s so I at least heard it!

I know it does for me ….sometimes 2 or 3 years…..quite emotional really, but my god it feels good to be back amongst my brethren. To your journey 73 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Don’t think I’ve ever gone a whole season not seeing them?
Uni years 91-94 was infrequent. 94/95-2000 season ticket holder 2000-covid moved away, had kids and spent 10 years coaching kids football on a sat morning but went to a few games whatever
Post covid have been a season ticket holder again

Interesting. That season absolutely ruled! I missed 4 games (2 home/2 away) Expectations were well and truly lowered. Not at all. We were where we were and had a job to do. Every away ground was something brand new, took 2 sides of most grounds visited (sometimes 3), every game was a must win as Barnet also turned over everyone most weeks, four defeats all season, but for 5 seconds of madness from Browner/Puddy we were straight back as Champions. Instead we went the long way round and won at Wembley on Pens scoring 5/5. 12 months later the Champagnes back out & we’re in League One. Two of the best seasons to have a ST, no question👍🏻

This is my current longest run without going to a gas game , last game I attended was the Burton home loss , haven’t been since due to a combination of reasons , work , car breaking down and generally not being overly interested. I drove up with the intention to go for the Wycombe game Tuesday ( albeit later than usual because of an issue at work ) I said to myself , if there’s a space to park on the common , I’ll go but if not , I’ll just go home , I ended up going home. I’ve just lost the gas bug at the moment and I don’t know why , it’ll come back I’m sure.
