My attempts at copying the article from the BBC a website has not worked but the Annual Fan Engagement Index show that we have been judged at 11th out if 92 in how the club engages with us, the fans for the 21/22 season. Well done to the club for beating 81 other clubs, many of which were PL clubs. Credit where credit’s due.
UTG!

Has communication really improved from the Higgs era? In some areas I suppose it has. I do miss Nicks monthly update (not). Regardless of owners they have always been very good at telling us nothing is happening in a variety of ways. Am I being too harsh?

Well, I was surprised we were so high but I guess you have to look a bit closer to see what they are measuring. When you realise that some of the biggest clubs in the world, the Manchester clubs, Liverpool are in the 70s or lower then I think we’ve got to give credit to the club. I know if we were in the 70s then there would be warranted criticism of the club. As it is we are 11th, so well done to the club. UTG!

The recent Badge discussion, AGMs, fan zone etc are all positive fan engagement initiatives.

The Fan Engagement Index awards up to 240 points to clubs overall based on the quality of their Fan Engagement. It comprises three categories, each offering up to 80 points.
DIALOGUE, GOVERNANCE and TRANSPARENCY.
Final figures correct as of the 31st of May of the end of the season concerned. The latest Index and data relate to the 2021/22 season.
11th overall is a move in the right direction.
The BRFC F.E. INDEX for recent years is:
2018/2019. **** 30
2019/2020. **** 110
2020/2021. **** 120
2021/2022. **** 145
Some way still to go to reach the Top Five.
83rd in the EFL in 2018/2019.
11th in the EFL now. Not too bad.

Oh, some sarcasm from one of the usual suspects. Sorry I don’t meet the criteria. Yes, the bar is set at "average", predicated upon use of English and English Comprehension. I may well be out of date, but those use of to be pre requisites for tertiary education. In the interim, can I ask what I am "suspected" of? (Yes, this is a deeply sarcastic post)

You seemed to revel in pointing that out. I bow to thee.

Thanks allgas for posting link. 👍 Not only Jeff Sterling but also Steven Lansdowne for the sh** and their transparency! Actually there are a number of interesting anomalies when you delve into it that seem strange under the 3 areas they measured. It may be just me but I thought FGR and Port Vale would have been higher as their owners are always held up as something special. They may be of course but I think that Wael, TG and others can hold their heads up high. And perhaps the PL clubs have taken their eyes off their local fans in their attempts to find an international audience for their clubs. Whatever, 11th out of 92 is very good. UTG!

Interesting to see two of the top three are ‘fan owned’ clubs.

Interesting to see two of the top three are ‘fan owned’ clubs. A quick look at their scoring system explains that.
