With the great news about the Fish Market, let's all get the Mem early and raise a pint to Wael and buy an extra 50/50 and some club merch with the Mem written on it, while we still can.
Don't bother drinking or eating elsewhere as they don't give the club any money. (Sportsman and Annex excepted).
What's the odds on the Welly making donations to the politicos near Temple Meads to try and disrupt any moves away from the Mem? This could cost them a quarter of a million plus income each year.
If its over a quid profit on each pint at the Mem, I reckon we can easily help reduce this years losses if we all help drink the bars dry for the rest of the season.
ยฃ3 million, no problem - surely Rovers must have an Oliver Reed type character in the fan base (hiccup!)

Your third paragraph is absolute tosh. 23 home games plus a few others in the calendar year is not going to bring in ยฃ11k profit every game. The Welly survives quite easily without the football trade, fact!

The Welly survives quite easily without the football trade, fact! To be fair, I did say income. Profit is totally a different thing altogether and yes it will survive if/when the club moves. With beer and cider and even soft drink prices, a good high hundreds of packets of crisps a season, food, bottles of wine, shorts etc, plus fans staying on for a few extra after the game, I would have thought that was not an unreasonable guestimate, especially if we have decent pre season fixtures and a cup run. No doubt after the Scunthorpe game they must have made a pretty hefty profit on that one day alone. Just my personal choice, but I would rather my hard earned beer money goes to help Wael fund for the club.
