Two years ago to the day my little boy was born. AND Two years ago to the day Sainsbury's got planning permission from BCC to build a supermarket at the Mem, thus letting us fund the UWE Stadium. 16th January 2013. Who honestly thought that no building work would have started by now? P.S. I do rather regret calling him Kaleb Higgs Planning Committee Heroes Trash Stick It Up Your Hooter Bull now

My son was born just over four years ago. Myself and SWMBO decided to follow the trend at the time and name him after where he was conceived, y'know, like Becks and Beanpole naming their kid Brooklyn....................but I don't think he likes being called Number 47 Bus Stop.

In German that has a bit of a ring to it though, more exotic sounding

There is one female poster on here who was asked by her little son, "Mummy, why are you white and I'm black", to which the Mother replied, "Son, after that party where you were conceived you're lucky you're not barking!".

If you've supported Rovers for any length of time you can't have expected it to go smoothly. I remember the day well, the amount of people on the forum shouting the odds saying "city are going down, we might make the playoffs, then get our new ground" blah blah blah. It was absolutely cringeworthy, talk about pride comes before a fall. I really do still hope it happens but the longer it goes on you have to wonder. Maybe a revamp of what we have would be better in the short/mid term? When alls said and done myself and a few others have always said I'll believe it when I'm sat in it,, and I stand by that. Been a Gashead long enough to know we always seem to struggle/do things the hard way. First things first lets get back in the league, if we can do that first time of asking I'll take that for now. UTG Interesting 'what if' question there...assuming we had made a similar run to the one in 2006/07, made and then won the playoffs, would we be moving into UWE this summer? Next summer? Or would we still be in the same boat?

I think success on the pitch would have definitely helped our case in terms of being able to say "Look we're going places etc" but I don't think that would have stopped the TRASH opposition or the fact that it seems to be Sainsbury's trying to get out of it that is causing the problems. it was of course two years ago to the day Sainsbury's got planning permission from BCC to build a supermarket at the Mem, thus letting us fund the UWE Stadium.

I thought Tilly's Thighs was trying to keep that quiet? She's not named after Mr.Suntan's Thighs for nothing you know

Or would we still be in the same boat? sadly I doubt it would help. surely the 'problem' has been legal issues, and problems with Sainsbury's. Unless we got into Premiership League and could afford to build the stadium ourselves, without a supermarket.
