Bacon Eggs Sausages Toast Fried Bread Mushrooms Black Pudding Beans
Options for tomatoes and fried potatoes. In Wales add cockles and laver bread, in Scotland haggis and potato stotties, in Ireland white pudding and potato cakes.
Tea is the only acceptable drink.

I'm sensing battle lines being drawn on the Black pudding debate.
This could get ugly.

Kingswood cafe is a good place. There's a place in Westbury that was good but I forget the name. We have a Full English once a week at home and to be honest, you can't beat making your own. I love eggs, bacon, a quality sausage, beans, real tomato, mushrooms, hash browns and toast. Black pudding can GTFO. I've heard nothing but good things about Flourish but haven't been there yet. Porkys in Westfield trading estate is also excellent if you ever find yourself out that way. Porkies is indeed a good place. Worked around the corner for almost 30 years. A part of the Saturday morning staple diet. Sausage, egg a bacon bap, or SEB as we called it. Bloody delicious

Bloody delicious Standard Cheque? Started at Standard Check Book Company in 1988. Will always remain as that despite various name changes and take overs. Was once a great place to work. Sadly when I left in 2017 it was not the same.

Old school cafe fry ups are hard to come by these days, they just aren’t the same as they used to be. I’ve eaten at the house cafe on Gloucester rd a fair few times now tho, it’s very consistently not to bad lol

On the morning of the Liverpool FA Cup tie at Anfield in February 2012 - some of the Rovers team were in Hungry Horaces on Speedwell Road - having a full fry up before the trip up north. Can you imagine that now?

The only requirements I have for a Fry Up is don't put the eggs next to the beans.
As Alan Partridge righly said, use the Sausages as a breakwater, I want it to be my decision whether I mix the eggs with the beans.

Britannia cafe bottom of the runway, sadly no longer.
Proper old school, fag in mouth, everything on the hot plate with a portion of norovirus.

Nah, beans have to be kept away from the hash browns so they don't go soggy. Hate a limp hash brown. Agree that the sausage does make a good barrier though. Have to put red sauce on the mushrooms too.

Also Teatro Lounge and if you need a quick sandwich the H & H van by Asda is excellent. I went to Codero Lounge in Frome yesterday with the boy and was impressed along with a nice fresh pressed orange juice, although admittedly it’s been three years since the last one.

The crappy place opposite the cenotaph in Frome used to be good just down from the Wheatsheaf.

Also the breakfast van opposite the tip on Marsdon trading estate used to be lovely for an egg and bacon baguette.

Been gone a few years sadly, Riverhouse at the Black Swan Arts centre is very good for food, including breakfasts when I look at them, but was packed out yesterday, usually is though.
