First of the season for me and started it on the correct day 😜.
Need to get the first win of the season under our belts and a good time to start today with an injury hit Charlton..
So far two 1-0 results for the Addicts, with one victory and one reverse.
I think start with the same 11 as the weekend.... The only possible change I can think of is Finley for Ward and depending on the fitness of Brown, possibly him for Marquis..
To be honest, even though early on in the season, someone is gonna be on the receiving end of a can of WHOOP ASS from us soon....
I'm gonna go 3-0 (good to get a clean sheet under our belts)
Collins with a brace and Evans on the sheet.

A win would be fantastic, 5 from the first 9 including Pompey & Charlton away. Hardest start in the league bar none.
However, not sure many would agree with me here, but I’d take another point if that’s what it’s gotta be.

What's with this starting match treads on match days! what ever next, jinx! Anyway win this and we can boast an excellent start to season, get a point and it will be still be a very good start though the league table would not reflect it, best of luck everyone ,welcome back JB ,hope it's a happy return to the 'action', reckon we will continue our run of 1-1 s, that'll do for me!

Charlton Ath 2-1 Gas (Evans to score). Tough battling performance but too much to ask, they will be very decent.

Always enjoyed watching their midfielder Scott Fraser play with his lovely passing range. Hopefully our midfield can stop him and Dobson dictating the tempo. I'm going for another hard fought 1-1. UTG.

Some difficult decisions to make in defense and midfield. Crama has earned his spot as has Evans. Let's just get Collins off the wing if at all possible.
A friend has asked if I fancy going to Twerton Park tonight for Bath Vs Weston, so I'm torn between that and iFollow.

Wonder if he might save Marquis for 2nd half again. Collins up front and Sinclair on the LW Cant see how Marquis doesn't start. Whilst I don't think he will score loads of goals, he is doing all the hard and dirty work really well. I think JB always like an outlet up top to try to hold on to the ball a bit longer. It also wouldn't surprise me if we get another number nine in before the window closes. |
