I just saw one of those “all time XI” posts and what I notice is that they generally stuff everyone in based on talent. So you have maradona at left back or ronaldo in centre mid.
So, thought let’s make a Rovers XI but actually trying to get balance. I’ve also considered the actual ability. Sure Lee Mansell and Sinclair were great but they were playing in the conf and L2 mainly so I’ll be picking what I see as the best potential team in my lifetime with the right balance. Sadly for many of you I can’t remember when life was black and white so you’ll have to write your own soliloquies on David Williams or other guys with stupid haircuts 🤣.

I do not believe that Belshaw is better than Nigel Martin. Never saw him play. We sold him for a million in 1989 to Palace and he went on to play for Leeds and Everton, oh and England 23 times. |
