Yes, it's better than Ward's lazy team, that's for sure.

Ok, let's say you are right Mark Ash. We are the biggest kid in the playground. Doesn't that then mean that everyone ups their game when they play us? We are a big target and playing us is like a cup final every week for half the teams in this league. (I'm not this arrogant but am making a point) Doesn't that then make DCs win rate even more impressive? As an experiment the next time you see your mate Jon the Stripe tell him how McCoist was the most amazing Rangers manager due to his performence in the scottish 4th division. :-)

Jesus wept. I'll be flipping glad when we are playing again. Can't we just have one subject where we are all positive without having to pick the arse out of it to turn it into something less so?? He can only beat what's in front of him with the budget he has. Yes it's bigger than others, but wasn't that also the case last season and the season before that? Isn't that why we are so in debt because all I read is how the Board wasted so much money on the playing budget back then? Other managers have had a big budget relative to our peers and have won less but let's pick apart what our bright young manager is doing because it's fun to pick holes and somehow nothing positive anyone does at Bristol Rovers counts. Maybe I should go for a walk. Lawks, Hugo, I'm beginning to feel as if I've drawn a picture of Mohammed or something. We're only discussing how well he's done, ranging from doing very well to somewhere in Brian Clough territory. No-one's saying that what he's done "doesn't count". We have to discuss things and not just be cheerleaders: I don't know about you, but my legs just aren't up to that and at my time of life those short skirts are liable to give me rheumatism. I think DC is doing very well. He's the best we've had since Trollope, obviously, and he may be better. We'll see! Sorry Mark.

Nor did they cut their budget in half.

Most of their best players left and im pretty sure their budget was also more then halved.
Anyway we agree he is doing well however my point is its impossible to compare our win rate in non league where we are expected to win with the championship or league 1 where we are underdogs. Point not made with mallace or to be argumentative.

My toys are back in the pram. For now. We've all got new toys now: Easter, Blissett, Dawson. It's a pity we can't see them in action. I hope nothing goes wrong on Feb 7th, e.g. snow. I haven't been since Jan 1st. I'll have to get the sat nav out at this rate.

Can you imagine what we're all going to be like as we head into March lol? I'll have to get some tablets or something. I would imagine half of us will be hanging from the rafters as we're going to be Champions, half of us will be blaming DC as we're still not top and the other half (do the maths...) will be blaming JW/NH/MM/PB/DP/SC for this season's 'struggles'

There can surely be no doubt about it. Despite the gloom from some pre-season (including me in my darkest hours in May), the boy has done a great job so far. I think Barnet might be a little bit too far ahead to catch now, but I don't care. I will be at Wembley in May when we beat the last non-league side we'll ever have to face (except for the FA Cup), along with 40,000 other nutty fans who will celebrate our return to our rightful place. Worries aplenty after that about budgets, stadiums etc, but WHEN we go up, he will be DE MAN. I believe we will catch them, it will be tight but we'll just nip in there to win the league, that's of course if we ever play a game!

I worry that if we don't go up this season we'll lose Brown and Parkes, not sure how great our defence will be without them, then our lack of goals will really hurt us.... But I believe we'll go up this season anyway!
