Good point, you missed Israelis off the list of those dying but we can gloss over that. The reason this is an important question (Rayner) is what kind of person do you want at the heart of the UK government? Not Suella Braverman, not Liz Truss, not Boris Johnson, not Grant Shapps, not Jeremy Hunt, not David Cameron, not George Osborne...I am running out of space Exactly 🙄 meanwhile Super wangs on and on and on about Rayner 🥱

All very tedious whilst in the real world, Ukrainians and Palestinians are dying!! Good point, you missed Israelis off the list of those dying but we can gloss over that. The reason this is an important question (Rayner) is what kind of person do you want at the heart of the UK government? I’m surprised to read this post. Despite being on the other side politically, I do enjoy reading what you write and think that it’s actually balanced, considering it’s the opposite view. However, this comes across as judging before conviction. And tbh, the amount of scandals of the last 10 years that have been in the heart of our government must be a record. I’d far rather Rayner than any of those pillocks.

Looks like Clive and I will be anxiously waiting for the post from now on. "Unpaid carers who have been told to repay thousands of pounds of benefits after accidentally earning too much money years ago say it is wrong and unfair. Two former Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) ministers have told the BBC they are calling for the government to pause its demands for repayments of large sums of money. Gina Price had been looking after her dad for a decade before she realised she could apply for Carer's Allowance in 2013. By this time she was working part-time at a petrol station as well as caring for her father, who had a series of conditions including a hip replacement that did not go to plan. She says she received Carer's Allowance for about five years. She says she would sometimes agree to work an extra shift, but would do fewer other weeks. This way, she believed she would remain under the earnings threshold to qualify for the benefit. But in 2019, she received a letter saying she owed the DWP about £7,600, to cover overpayments for periods over three-and-a-half years to February 2018." www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68774399 Received our letter today. Thankfully it's 'only' a few hundred we've got to pay back.

It really is a f... ing travesty,we save the NHS a fortune by providing our own care instead of getting them to do it,feel like saying we're not doing it anymore over to you We stopped claiming quite a while ago when my other half got more work ,they just don't see the whole picture.

Fortunately we can cover it but moving from PIP to UC is a minefield. I feel better knowing that it'll keep Mark Menzies safe, Michelle Donelan solvent and ensure all those thousands of illegals are off to Rwanda soon.

I think I've posted this before, we get some help through the council with care. The agency charge £31 ph, the nurse sees little under half that. If they paid me similar I could give up work, remove the need for the local authority to spend so much on agencies and free up my job for someone else.

So flights to Rwanda should take off in 10-12 weeks.
Wonder if that gives a pointer to the GE date? Could make it late June or early July.

Parliament sitting today pretty much until it passes. Could be a long night unless government concede some ground on the Lord's amendments.

Please stop. Before I go out and start chucking bricks at Mark Harper's office window. He, the absolute plank, is my MP

I honestly don’t think seeing flights take of for Rwanda will have any effect on the polls . I don't think there's much appetite left for it in the government but it's a desperate last throw of the dice to get the faithful and true onside and stop them voting Labour or perhaps more importantly flooding to Reform.

Not sure if anyone knows, but it's been agreed for Denmark to sell some older fighter jets to Argentina.
This is significant as it brings Argentina under their new President back into the Western fold. China were hovering with their own offer which would have been another South American nation under the influence of Beijing.
