He's already got a higher win percentage managing Rovers than Tisdale and Garner also higher than Barton on just League One results - and in terms of not being a top level player, why is that relevant? Neither were Clarke or Coughlan, two of our most successful managers in recent years.. ...if you're not going to give a new manager a decent chance to get into the job you might as well find a new love of your life - I would rather give him a chance to grow into the role and grow the players and the club as he does... |

I would have much rather MT said we are not very happy today, but we going to get back to work Monday and sort it out.
I want to give the guy a chance.
In the next 5 game for me he has to pick up 6 or 7 points, leaving 10 games to get at least 6-8 more.
What must be said is the players need to step up, they are professionals being paid a decent wage, have some pride, play for the fans that turn up every week and watch. I wants to see a team that wants the ball, not afraid, chase down in numbers when don't have the ball and get forward in numbers when we do.

The least we expected and I assume the owners was to match JB's results this season. If we don't win one of the next 3 games the owners may well have to act in order to try and keep us in L1. Fortunately for MT Carlisle seem to be on a worse run than us at present. |

If you judge a manager after one or two results you will never get the consistency we want and need to progress. When Taylor took over we were 11th in the table, 9 points off the playoffs. We're now 12th in the table, 13 points off the playoffs. Hardly a change in form that deserves the meltdown the fanbase seems to be having... |
