I think the fact the away games are against 'better' teams is in our favour, we play well against the teams who think they have a chance of winning, no parking the bus suits us. UTG. That's possible. Let's hope so. I think key is - can we score enough goals away from home to get the wins needed ?

Lokok at the Away games left - on paper ALL of them are tough: Unless we play with more freedom away it's hard to see us getting many away wins, isn't it ? Football Conference Grimsby v Bristol Rovers Sat 14 Feb 15:00 Show Football Conference Bristol Rovers v Altrincham Sat 21 Feb 15:00 Show Football Conference Bristol Rovers v Braintree Tue 24 Feb 19:45 Show Football Conference Gateshead v Bristol Rovers Sat 28 Feb 15:00 March 2015 Football Conference Bristol Rovers v Eastleigh Sat 7 Mar 15:00 Show Football Conference Halifax v Bristol Rovers Sat 14 Mar 15:00 Show Football Conference Bristol Rovers v Aldershot Sat 21 Mar 15:00 Show Football Conference Macclesfield v Bristol Rovers Sat 28 Mar 15:00 April 2015 Football Conference Bristol Rovers v Chester Sat 4 Apr 15:00 Show Football Conference Kidderminster v Bristol Rovers Mon 6 Apr 15:00 Show Football Conference Bristol Rovers v Southport Sat 11 Apr 15:00 Show Football Conference Dover v Bristol Rovers Sat 18 Apr 15:00 Show Football Conference Bristol Rovers v Alfreton Sat 25 Apr 17:15 If we can get something at Grimsby & Gateshead and win all 4 home games in between, which all look winnable that's at least 14 pts out a possible 18 pts, surely that will close the gap to Barnet? If we can then it's which club holds their nerve the best. Although the next two set of fixtures could actually decide if we have a chance of catching Barnet, as we play Grimsby away and Altrincham at home, Barnet Wrexham away & then Grimsby at home, if they better our results the gap may then become to big to close. Although Macclesfield can't be discounted as they seem to be somehow hanging on and all their home look winnable ones, although they have a similar fixtures to us away.

I hate to say it but I have a feeling we will finish second but get knocked out of the playoffs via penalty shoot out. So much so I've been having nightmare about it. Really want us to catch Barnet.

On what basis can you be confident? The gap never seems to reduce plus Taylor's proven yesterday he's a shocking finisher.

On what basis can you be confident? The gap never seems to reduce plus Taylor's proven yesterday he's a shocking finisher. I base my confidence on three key requirements of great teams. This works at any level of football and I think we can all see a consistency this season that has been lacking for many years. Firstly, I think there is greater trust between the players than we have seen for many years. The teamwork, individual contribution and team focus is as good as any of our promotion winning teams. Trust in one another goes beyond individual performances and manifests itself in creating the conditions and culture where team results matter more than individuals. Secondly, this foundation increases the level of understanding within the team and this is spreading through your the club and fan base. The atmosphere is as good as it has ever been. There is an increase in positivity around the club and this is shown in the unbeaten runs and the loss of only 4 games this season. Thirdly, With trust and understanding in place teams and individuals have more belief that anything is possible. In addition I refuse to be angry about nearly anything as it always encourages me to look back when what I see ahead are possibilities and opportunities. I don't put fearful thoughts in my mind as I find it acts like a prison on aiming high or succeeding. I'm much more hopeful than many and that's where my thoughts and plans for progress come from. Pretty certain the team are after the prize. They know its more than possible. Barnet can still drop points. Of course, It's more likely we will make the play offs. That's the safe prediction. I agree Barnet always appear to be around 7pts ahead. However, One win, one defeat and then it's only 4pts. The time to be brave is now. The time for confidence is now. The time to be hopeful is now. Now is our time. Are we brave enough to take it? The dressing room are. Many in the crowd and the wider fan base will think we are ready. I can't see beyond a fantastic run in. When We beat a few so called big boys in the next few weeks many many more will be joining the many who are thinking the unthinkable. Matty Taylor will also be thinking that it might be possible.

I don't think it's down to our form/results it's now down to Barnet dropping points and they are frustratingly consistent. Plus when we get a chance ie Woking & Dartford we don't take it.

Consistent, maybe but Barnet have had some dodgy results recently and only won due to a penalty and a strange own goal yesterday, win our games and they will drop the points needed. The hard bit is getting results ourself.

We need to think that Barnet can slip up. Can they cope with the pressure of a run in. Who knows? We will see. Here's hoping and knowing that we are the team that have lost less than all the others. Confidence is high that it can be done. A run of all runs will see off Barnet. Should be fun watching them crack. At some point we might just pass them. We are like Lewis Hamilton, knowing we are better, and waiting for an error. Our time is coming. Maybe March. Maybe April. Bring it on.

They are stumbling so are the few Barnet fans who bother to turn up ! They had less possession against Woking even though they were at home against 10 men for a large part of the game they have messed up before we now have a much better all round team Akinde isn't a world beater an international who's plying his trade in non league they are a basic team who threaten other teams ( mainly the part time teams who get no protection from the useless officials) with there direct style of hoof ball to Akinde who muscles opponents off the ball I believe Akinde has fouled more than anyone else in our league But Barnet get caught out by some teams big time look at there last 14 games and some of there away results are shocking Come on you Gas of course we can and any other side run close with our record of 1 defeat in 26

Yes, this was the type of result we needed to pull off to catch Barnet, the added bonus today was they lost & also Macclesfield let in a late equaliser. You do have to start wondering whether Macclesfield are now our biggest threat and the televised game could well decide who wins the Championship, as whoever wins that game could well be in the driving seat? It's surprising how Barnet have imploded recently, Akinde sending off being the icing on the cake.

The bus is never full. It always accepts new passengers. I can't believe myself. We might actually do something ground-breaking!

We're catching them, but slowly. Keep it up and we'll get there.
