Great comeback from the lads, but we had a lot of chances in the second half. Is it a point gained considering the circumstances? Same points as Barnet but they're top on goal difference, just hope they slip up against Halifax with their game in hand!

Dropped for me, if DC had got it right at the start we'd have had a much easier ride. Having said that, all teams drop stupid points, Barnet included.

Point gained considering how poor we were first half. Still all to play for. The side who is most consistent between now and May will win the league.

As Hugo said, with that pitch and Easter and Lines coming into the squad I was prepared for a 0 - 0. Disappointing but shows we have a never say die team this season which will be a great asset if we do end up in the play-offs.
We're still well in this, especially if Halifax can hurt Barnet on Tuesday.

Grimsby haven't beaten us over two legs this season and we've done Macc 4 - 0. Eastleigh are scary.

I'm confident of us beating anyone over two legs except FG and Eastleigh. The final is a one off so it's quite hard to say. Hopefully if we don't finish top We'll get Maccs in the semis.

Great comeback but 2 dropped when barnet win, no question. I really hope we come out to win in the remaining 7

I don't like it when we chop and change formation so often. Personally not sure that the fullbacks, brown especially, are wingbacks so not a fan of 3 - 5 - 2
On the face of it 2 points dropped but others will drop points on the run in. Barnet have won the odd game and lost games recently so this win may be start of recovery or simply the odd win that they have been getting.
Psychologically I think the draw will feel like a win and players will be upbeat for rescuing a point so late whereas a drab nil nil, or us drawing from 2 up would be more worrying from that viewpoint.
We will win our home games, and I honestly think minimum of 4 points away will be enough although we could easily get 7 points.
If we make playoffs we shouldn't fear anyone, Eastleigh were much better than us last week but we won't be that bad again(I hope!)

Put the boot on the other foot, would any of them want us?

Point gained for me after being on the verge of defeat.
But DC has got to start focusing on attacking games from the start instead of the cautious approach.
3 points for a win means he must go for an attack minded team for all of our remaining games, from the start. ( what have we got to lose , pecking order in the play off positions ? )
There is nothing to be scared of from our remaining fixtures, all are very winnable, inc Maccy.
Starting clarke ahead of Dawson today was a big mistake imo.
Would love to see this lineup next week.
Mildy
Leadbitter Mccrystal Parkes Brown
Dawson Lines Lockyer Balanta
Easter Harrison
Subs. Monky, Taylor, Blissett, Trottman, Puddy

Great come back but still 2 points dropped, Clarke picked the wrong starting 11 and we sat back far to much in the first half, if we'd have got it right from the beginning of the game we'd have won easily today, Barnet's to lose again now but I still believe we can do it, toughest game left is Maccy away and they're stuttering, I think we could well win our final 7 now and clinch it

Point gained - we were dead and buried end of first half. Different team second half of second half, perhaps the team that should have started. One important difference to recent seasons - we didn't give up, hence the two late goals and possibility of a last-minute winner. A reality check for me - I came to the game thinking with our squad we would annihilate Halifax - how very wrong I was. It could have been 5 - 0 to them had things gone only very slightly differently. TBH, we were lucky today, and a draw flatters us. Full marks to the team for keeping on keeping on - and full marks to the 660+ fellow Gasheads who made the journey: that's really impressive!

DC got it wrong first half again, with Harrison,Easter and Balanta on the pitch Lines and Monkhouse in midfield,we were much better. Time for Taylor to be rested, should of put us back in it much earlier but missed a simple looking header, also thought Mildenhall was at fault for there second goal, but will have to watch the replay. Time to attack from the off now,no more cautious defensive rubbish

Agree totally. Will write my full report tomorrow however DC again got it wrong today and had to make three substitutions to put right his own poor selections. How about he admits he got it wrong and puts out 10 of the eleven that finished the game so well with Dawson making the 11 for the suspended Mansell. McCrystal seems to have drifted back to his early season form in the last two games but deserves another chance.
As I have said many times we need to get our ball players on from the start and play 4-4-2
