With our focus on winning every game now and to hope Barnet slip up sees Grimsby having similar dreams. We simply have to get 3 points v Macclesfield as I can see Grimsby winning their next 2 this week piling the pressure on us. This certainly is still a 4 team race in my book as Macclesfield will be doing everything to turn Saturday's result around in front of the cameras. Game on.

I expect there will be lots of twists and turns as the finish line comes into view. Barnet look to be back on song with a stunning win Saturday and at the moment it looks down to us an them. Grimsby FGR and Maccs or Eastliegh look likely playoff candidates with either us or Barnet. We just have to keep the pressure on Barnet and hope, maybe Akinde will Twist a ligament diving for another penalty.

With Forest Green losing and Eastleighs last few results I think 5th place is still wide open to Woking, Halifax and Gateshead, the time is now for these teams to hit a run of wins, the team that does will take that final spot, and if we beat Macclesfield (which I strongly believe we will) then they suddenly become very catchable to that pack as well, nothing is certain yet

I think there will still be a lot of twists and turns yet, but I am a lot more confident (even in the play-offs)with Easter and Linesy back fit and in the team.
I hope it will also reduce Darrell's tinkering!

I think Macclesfield are out of the race. But they can still hurt us.
Grimsby are hitting consistent form just at the right time, istm.

maybe Akinde will Twist a ligament diving for another penalty. I see the British olympic diving committee were at the hive yesterday to judge his latest attempt.

Dover are a decent team at home, I can't see Grimsby's funding it easy to win at their ground.
Macclesfield seem, fingers crossed, to have lost form just at the right time for us.

Yes Dover are decent at home, they may well take something from Grimsby, the thing is they may well do the same to us next month. We must focus solely on our last six games, win them and let the rest worry about us.

It'll be tight but Grimsby look like they'll need to win all of their remaining fixtures to win the league outright... It's barnets to lose still.

I think there will still be a lot of twists and turns yet, but I am a lot more confident (even in the play-offs)with Easter and Linesy back fit and in the team. EXACTLY what i was thinking last night. Seeing Lines and Easter there gives me so much more confidence we could potentially 'unlock' a stubborn defence, especially on a day when maybe not everything is quite going for us. Good point, re play-offs. If needed, then The Beard could be fit. In fact the whole squad might be fit, and unlikely to have any suspensions unless we get red(s) in the last few league match. Dawson will be gone though. And not sure about the Lines situation. I genuinely think we can potentially win all our remaining matches (and may need to). I'm not saying it will be easy and none will be a push over, but all are possible and we now have the bonus of Kiddie tanking, Macc losing form, and probably Southport, Dover and Alfreton all 'safe' by the time we play them. Southport may also have some key players out.

Dover wont be easy and even though they will be favourites to beat Welling away you never know with Welling probabably needing to win this to have any hope of staying up. Then they are home to Gateshead which wont be easy either. I know we are all (including myself) looking at everyones fixtures, but all we can do is take one game at a time starting with cheering on Dover on Tuesday night.

Yeah it's a three-horse race now. Macc can't expect all three teams above them to slip-up. Grimsby have the smallest chance and looking at the games left Barnet have got to be favourites. They are ahead of us by 2 pts (goal difference) and we still have some tough games left - Macc, Dover and Southport at home (who have a very good away record).
So, would love us to get 5 or 6 wins but I don't think Barnet are going to lose enough points for us to sneak past them. Fingers-crossed.

Barnet only need to slip up in one game for us to have the initiative back/put pressure on themselves, but I can't see both of us slipping up to let Grimsby go up.
With Easter & Lines, possibly Sinclair back for Dawson, I still fancy our chances in the Play Offs if we get to Wembley.

We only have to get 2 more points than Barnet and we have already gained 10 points on them over the last couple of months. If hadn't been for Eastleigh we would be a point clear. We can definately do this.

You'll drive yourself mad thinking about how the others are doing, trust me. You can skew form and stats to give any conclusion you want. Getting to the games and making a noise is a far better use of that energy!
