DARRELL Clarke has called on supporters to "get the Mem bouncing" at the start of an Easter weekend that could prove pivotal in Bristol Rovers' bid to land the Vanarama Conference title.
Rovers, who are currently one point behind leaders Barnet, entertain Chester at the Memorial Stadium on Friday before making a short trip up the M5 to play Kidderminster Harriers on Easter Monday.
"It is an important weekend for every team who still has something to play for," said Clarke.
"It is a time where everyone associated with our club must pull together. I want the Mem bouncing on Friday and I want my players and everybody else really up for this game against Chester.
"I am honoured and privileged to be the Bristol Rovers manager and I am working 24/7 to do everything I can to try and get this club back into the Football League. The players are doing exactly the same and we are trying to get it done for the supporters.
"It is all about them because they were here before me and the players and will still be here when we are all gone. The players who came to the club over the summer can't believe the level of support we have been getting since the start of the season.
"And for that they deserve to be back in the Football League at the first time of asking. We all need to stick together and be really positive over the last few weeks of the season because that Bristol Rovers spirit will stand us in really good stead to go and try to do something really special."
Rovers dropped points in the title quest after playing out a goalless draw against Macclesfield Town in front of the BT Sport cameras on Saturday.
The title race, however, remained pretty much as you were after Barnet conceded a 94th-minute penalty to draw at Alfreton later in the day.
Clarke, pictured, added: "That was obviously a boost for us and you would have to say it is a three-horse race now.
"Grimsby are on a hell of a run, but we are still only a point off the top of the table and right in the mix ourselves. I've said to my staff all along that if we could be in with a fighting chance at this stage of the season we would be in a great position to go and win the title.
"Every game has been like a cup final for us over the last few months and in the last ten we have won six, drawn three and lost only one in what are always high-pressure situations.
"The player are always under immense pressure at this club, but they have still got us decent results and put us in a great position.
"Only Woking and Grimsby have a better record over the last ten games so we are on a great run and we must keep it going over the Easter weekend."
With Grimsby winning 2-0 away at Welling on Saturday, it left Rovers in third place.
Clarke and his players, meanwhile are to hold an open training session at the Memorial Stadium this morning.
Training will get under way at 10.30am and those who attend will have the opportunity to meet both Clarke and his players afterwards for a photo and autograph session.
Pirate Leisure will be open and will have a number of selected items available at a discounted price.
Refreshments will be available and the club's mascot will be on hand to have his photo taken with supporters. Gates will be open between 10am and 1pm and entrance is free to all.

I have decided to attend the game on friday after over a year away from the Mem, I have stated my reasons previously as to why I have stayed away but I now feel ready to return. I shall be bringing my fiancee who is a Peterborough supporter (well it is her hometown) and I am hoping that we make a good enough impression on her to convert her allegiance to the Gas.... Obviously the football needs to do the talking and every gashead has to make it noisy with lots of chanting!!!
See you friday ;-)

"I want The Mem bouncing" , ark at ee who sits there in the sodding dug out with his arms folded looking like someone stole his sodding conkers at break time.
Listen up Darrell Bloody Two L's have you tried bouncing watchin us play? Christ its like going along to the sodding school disco looking to hit the floor with yer best moves only to find their playing Jim Sodding Reeves all night.
Some of our supporters would love the chance to dance the game away and sing all day long, but it aint that easy, someones gotta start it and whoever does ends up feeling as out of place as a bleedin pork chop in a synagogue.
So yes i agree, our players are under pressure, just like you put sodding pressure on us supporters to get behind you constantly, its a two way sodding thing young man, but its also like the chicken and the bloody egg scenario - you entertain us, we'll bloody bounce or We'll back you, you entertain us...right who goes sodding first?
More important than who does what and when lets keep it sodding simple and concentrate on the only thing that matters - Winning! Then we'll all be sodding happy. This first place we're all after is going down to the bloody wire and is likely to be as tight as a camels arse in sand storm. But we can do it.
By the way, although ive about as much chance of being entertained as i have of finding an Essex Virgin i am impressed with our results this year and maybe just maybe its horses for courses , if so continue to battle and dig deep cause as long as we get out of this hell hole we'll all look back and think - you know what, DC and the lads did a sodding good job.
You already know we're right behind you just check out the attendances lad - Speaks volumes.
As you were, Good luck everyone.
