Was in Box 3 today and should have been the hospitality guest but was so watered off that he wasnt in the squad he just ignored everyone. I can understand his frustration - what was the point in bringing him all the way down from tranmere on loan if we arent going to use him. If he is going to be Dawsons replacement for Alfreton/play offs he should at least be on the bench. Nice to see really another player that wants to play, rather than oh wages free food cool

He was signed as cover for the squad and Dawson. If Balanta gets injured, then Dawson goes back what happens?? Everyone will moan that we should have brought in a replacement. He hasn't played for a while so is probably working on his fitness in case he is needed. Same with Lucas, we brought him back, good management, just in case. We don't want to be left playing players out of position like last season and it's good to have options on the bench. EXACTLY. and, remember, this season may well have another 2, or 3, games added onto the end of it, all of which are guaranteed not to include Dawson in. If Abdulai makes the bench at Wembley in front of maybe 70,000 fans, I bet he'll be pretty chuffed.

He was brought in the make up the numbers, if he's not good enough to keep Balanta off the bench then he should spend less time moaning and more time trying to get better haha don't believe everything you read on an internet forum

Do think we went for the cheapest option available,to keep the supporters happy, look at the clubs this joker was at,never been any good anywhere he as been, should have really made a statement,in the final transfer window, but sad to say the board is trying to get us out of this joke of a league by not speculating to accumulate, I do hope they have got it right,

As the OP i want to clarify that he wasn't moaning but was upset that he didn't make the squad. He ignored the guests in hospitality probably because he was struggling to understand why he has been brought down here. I can see why he is upset but at the same time we are on a winning streak and we don't need to tinker with a winning formula.

Yesterdays substitution of Dawson replaced by Balanta, looks like a good indication of who Dawson's replacement is going to be. True, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Easter or Sinclair do a job out on the right if we get to the play-offs.

Yesterdays substitution of Dawson replaced by Balanta, looks like a good indication of who Dawson's replacement is going to be. I really hope that's not the case. I've seen nothing from Balanta yet to suggest he's either good enough, quick enough or interested enough. Hopefully this Baggie bloke is decent or we're going to struggle once Dawsons gone if Sinclair doesn't come back soon.
