Whether Barnet win, lose or draw at Kiddy it is irrelevant to our game against Dover. We need 3 points. End of story. Why does Darrell need to know the second a goal goes in at Kiddy? Even if Barnet are losing a draw isn't good enough for us. Look at what? Strange. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32335257

Why not? Won't do any harm.
He can't sit on his iPhone looking at Sky Sports app... he'll just get a call, say theyre 1-0 down, pass that onto the lads, which will only push the lads on.

Can't see how it will help, we need a win whatever Barnet do, unless they're 15-0 down

I have to admit, that's a bit strange.

85mins - Kidderminster 0-1 Barnet
85mins - Dover 0-0 Gas.
DC and his staff know we have to throw extreme caution to the wind, risking a Dover goal, or it's game over. That means taking off a defender and throwing on another striker and sending Puddy/Mildenhall up for corners.

I can guarantee that nowadays the crowd will know and make it obvious if somethings happened well before anyone can communicate with DC.
Apparently these mobile phones supporters all carry don't just makes calls now! Incredible.

Imagine the stick he'd get if he sent Puddy up for a 95th corner and then conceded a last minute winning goal not knowing a point may have been good enough. Also think how it could motivate our players if they knew Barnet weren't winning late in the 2nd half.

Not a bad idea but surely he must know the BBC does a live text update for free!

But if we threw caution to the wind and conceded, our job would be made extremely difficult on the last day, as only a Barnet defeat would see us as champions. If we draw, and they draw (this Sat), we would only need Barnet to draw, not lose on the final day.

I hope whoever it is hurls constant abuse at the Barnet players.
Anyone without a ticket to the last home game should go to Barnet and give them dogs abuse too. Kiddy and Gateshead supporters for the next 2 weeks!

what harm can it do to have real time, accurate, info, rather than rely on the internet, or dodgy fan info.
Most of us of a certain age can remember WBA thinking they had stayed up when in fact we relegated them. Ha.
what if Barnet went 1-0 down, late on, and we were 1-0 up. would we then make an attacking sub? Probably not.
what if Barnet were 3-0 up. Would we risk even more to get a win? probably.

I am 99% sure that there will be nobody from BRFC at the Barnet game...
This is, in my opinion, a very clever bit of mind games by Darrell. Nothing like lumping a bit more pressure on a team that have already shown that they have it in them to wobble when things really heat up.
That story on the BBC will probably have been seen by Allen and his entire squad. Seed is planted.

Not just what Twerton said which I agree with, but say we were drawing with Dover and news filters through that Barnet were possibly dropping points, wouldn't that go some way of adding to the motivation of the players? Don't get me wrong I'm sure they're massively motivated anyways, but every little helps.

Good news for you Darrell Two L's, i have instructed two of my protege's (two very bright young ladies) to be at Kidderminster for you to keep you updated with the bloody score, they will be equipped with the fastest methods of communication known to man, in fact the car i'll be sending them in has one of my very own satellite transmission dishes on the bleedin roof. They will have all the relevant information to calculate how the up-to-the-minute scores will effect us. In case you're wondering... the other nice chap is Rich Hertford, he needs to be there in case its a bleedin Ground Breaking performance from the sodding Harriers. No charge by the way.
