Let's make sure we cheer the lads off the pitch saturday and get them pumped for the play offs. We CANNOT be negative and down if we miss out on the league. We need to stick with them and support them as much as possible.
UTG!

Agreed, though it will feel painful after Saturdays near miss!

We had a chance and we blew it.
I'm a bit tired of the thought police telling me what attitude to have.

Of course it's entirely up to you how to think, but I think what the OP is trying to say is that even though we might be disappointed inside it will be in our best interests to be supportive to the players. If it is the play-offs then I for one will be cheering the players off the pitch, not to say I won't be disappointed but we will have to have positive mind sights as fans and players to gain promotion.

Yep, you're right and it's a fair comment. I was just being a git.

A win and a good performance will help raise the spirits whether it wins us the league or not, and after the way we played against Dover I for one NEED to see us perform in the final game cuz I have lost confidence in our ability to win the play offs

Dover were long ball specialists. When all the opposition want to do is launch it, it makes it very hard to get a rhythm going.

I can't be the only one that fancies us winning the playoffs. As dissapointing as the result was Saturday, Dover have one of the best records at home in the league and they rarely troubled us.
Away leg first and avoiding grimsby is massive. We are solid and you can almost guarantee that we'll still be in the tie going into the home leg (can't see anybody beating us by 2 or more) and we can beat any of those at home despite league results.
I still have a sneaking suspicion it's not going to be easy for barnet... We need an early goal Saturday to lump the pressure onto them, just as Wycombe/Northampton did to us last season

We played a narrow formation and just launched it straight back at them, terrible set up and tactics, I expected much much more from us in that game and I will not be told by anyone that that is the best we could have done against them, and I expect us to end on a high by destroy a poor relegation team

The players have had the support of the fans all season and have rewarded by playing sh**e and it is up to them to prove they are capable now.

Weird things opinions as personally I reckon they've been pretty outstanding for most of the season
