If we're estimating that there will be around 11,000 home fans at the match tomorrow, I was trying to work out the last time we had that many. I know the attendance for the West Brom FA Cup tie in 2008 was 12,011, but the baggies would have taken 15% or about 1800 of those. I guess we had a similar attendance for the City JPT match in 2007 but again the away allocation and segregation would have meant less than 11k of us. So I've had a flick back through my Rovers history book. Twerton didn't have the capacity to beat it, while in our last season at Eastville, the highest home attendance was 9926 against the sheeds. You have to go back to 13/4/1985 for a contender when a home game against city attracted 12,957. Not sure how many of those would have been away fans though? We played them at Ashton Gate twice that season, in the league and the FA Cup in front of 18 & 19k so they probably came to Eastville in big numbers. If not we had a a crowd of 12,257 against Ipswich in the FA Cup 3rd Round on 5/1/1985 so could have been then depending on their following?

It is in very bad taste.
