Chanting "going, down going down"
I found that really poor taste, especially so soon after us having to suffer that last season.

Their fans were chanting 'one team in Bristol' and 'staying down with the Grimsby'.
Hope they had fun.

Chanting "going, down going down" I found that really poor taste, especially so soon after us having to suffer that last season. ditto. I didn't join in. Rather bizarre to be standing in a similar-ish position to a certain game a year ago, at pretty much the same time of the year, and being 'happy' that a team struggling on the pitch were getting relegated. Despite being a gashead for 26 years, when 4 relegations have been suffered, I don't think I had physically been at the match which relegated us until last season, and it's not an experience I would wish on many away fans.

Yeah I didn't like that at all, I respected them a lot for coming down and amazingly supporting there team through that game, they didn't deserve that

Yeah some of them were being absolute pricks I'm afraid.

Yeah my take on it is for Alfreton this really was the premier league and they've probably enjoyed being in the top division. For us it's non league and I reckon we probably hurt more last season than they are tonight because they've done well to get where they are. We on the other hand are distraught at where we are and are desperate for promotion from the "Premier" league. Some might read that as billy big bollocks attitude but it's not. I didn't join in with the relegation chants either.

Yeah some of them were being absolute pricks I'm afraid. interesting as I have heard a few Gasheads say that they have enjoyed all their away games this season; except Alfreton. Maybe there is something funny in the water up there?

Didn't feel right to join in those chants. Relegation is awful, and there are only a few clubs that I would actually take pleasure in sending down.

Yeah some of them were being absolute pricks I'm afraid. Well I was in the North Terrace and I'm sure they couldn't of heard anything from Alfreton's fans. I was embarrassed to be honest. Made me feel dirty and a right lady garden, even though I didn't chant anything.

Heard there were some C*ty fans in there and that was the source of the trouble. Not saying this is true or anything to do with me (didn't even join in the chanting) literally just reporting something that I heard.

I was in the South Stand, and didn't see anything to indicate that any 3rd parties were involved.

Was pretty close to the away end today, no City fans in there.
Just about 40 fans p*ssed up northerners enjoying their big day out trying desperately to wind the Rovers fans up. Pretty lame to be honest.

Maybe there is something funny in the water up there? I didn't enjoy Alfreton away. Nothing to do with the Alfreton fans though or the people in the area who I thought were very friendly. I hated it because it took 3.1/2 hours battling traffic jams to get there and we watched our team struggle to muster a shot on goal whilst we got soaked in the fine drizzly November rain

They definitely started the aggro in the away end.

Honestly, there's a pretty good chance we'll be non-league next season. I don't want it, but I can handle it.
