Apologies if this has been mentioned anywhere else.
Bournemouth last night attracted a crowd of 10,700 in a ground that apparently holds 12,000.
Just a tad less than we get for a conference game. Come on you investors out there. Can't you see a bargain awaits?

agree it is an amazing stat, although as a pedant I have to add their capacity is slightly less than that, and it may have been unsold away tickets / switch to Monday night TV that reduced the crowd.
anyway, it is still quite mad that a ground with less than 12,000 capacity will be in the PL.
AND one stand is only temporary. I'm sure many of us remember it 3 sided.

P.S. I wonder if they have thought about asking to use Soton's ground for some / all matches?
I guess they don't need the money?

Soton are a very well run/set up club from the stadium right down to the training pitch which has played a key part in their recent revival to the top half of the PL I doubt they'd want to share that advantage with any other PL club where as Pompey are the opposite and could probably do with the ticket % income or rental fee.

For balance, please remember Southampton writ off all their debt going into Admin screwing over lots of innocent businesses. So yes they are run well now but shafted plenty on their way.

Yes correct and I don't agree with what they have done in the past but since the new owners have took over they have been a clean well run club.

Harry Redknapp was on Goals on Sunday recently and said there is a real possibility that they will HAVE to ground share because their ground does not meet requirements. They do hope to fill the corners in over the summer but it will be tough ask to get it completed.

Going back to the original thread our support is fantastic and I'm so proud to be a Gashead. Got tickets for both play off games and I'm not going to have a voice left after them.

BTW - Totally agree, re Soton going into admin. The Capitalist way to get success. f**k up, go into admin and sell to someone happy not to have any debts. Disgusting. The businesses they shafted could have been mine or yours, and certainly were someone's livelihoods.
